What is Live Blood Analysis?
Live Blood Analysis, also known as microscopy, examines a single drop of your blood under a high-powered microscope. Examining the blood on a screen, we look at your red and white blood cells, plasma and other details to determine the health of your blood and your body overall. With Live Blood Analysis, we can look at aspects of concern and recommend any changes to your diet and lifestyle that will work to increase your energy levels and health, while preventing future health issues.

The difference between traditional blood testing and Live Blood Analysis
Traditional medical blood testing uses preserved blood samples which are sent to a laboratory where it is analyses for cell counts and chemical composition. With Live Blood Analysis, we view your blood within 20 minutes, while the cells are still alive. This means that we can not only see how many white blood cells you have, but how they are functioning too! This gives us a clearer picture of how your blood is behaving within your body and what changes can be made to improve it’s function.

The benefits of Live Blood Analysis
An experienced practitioner can use Live Blood Analysis to observe the shape and movement of your red blood cells, revealing key nutrition marks such as your levels of iron, protein, vitamins, folic and fatty acids. Digestive health is also reflected in your blood analysis, as well as the function of your organs and immune system.
What a Live Blood Analysis can detect , Dehydration, Acidity and dysregulation, Lack of enzyme factor, Poor fat intake or digestion, Poor red blood cell formation, Live stress or congestion, Bowel toxicity, Thyroid imbalance, Hormonal Imbalance, Heavy metals, Plaque, platelet aggregation, Bacterial infection, Poor motility of white blood cells and much more.
Iridology
Iridology is the science of analyzing of the eye to determine what is happening deep within the whole body from an external view. The eyes are likened to miniature television screens recording the condition of the various organs and tissues throughout the body. You can experience an instant and accurate analysis of your health situation in just one session.

Nourishing Your Body in October
October is a month of transition with cooler days, shorter evenings, and the dampness of fall settling in. As our bodies adjust to less sunlight and shifting temperatures, nutrition becomes a key ally in supporting energy, immunity, and overall well-being.

Game Changing New Natural Help for Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is way too common. There are more new cases of skin cancer each
year than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer combined. Around 6 million
Americans are treated for skin cancer each year. An important new study could
change skin cancer practice. And it’s a natural change.

Ten years ago, a study of people who were at high risk of skin cancer because
they had had a nonmelanoma skin cancer 2 or more times in the past 5 years,
found that niacinamide (nicotinamide), a form of vitamin B3, significantly reduced
the risk of new skin cancers. 500mg of niacinamide taken twice a day reduced the risk of new basal-cell and squamous-cell cancers by 23% compared with placebo. It also reduced actinic keratoses (possible precancers) by 15% (Am Health Drug Benefits. 2015 Aug;8(Spec Issue):13–14).

For a decade, no one followed up that study, and the excitement died. Until now.
A new study of 33,822 people has found that 500mg of niacinamide taken twice a day reduces the risk of skin cancer by a significant 14%. When people started taking niacinamide after a first skin cancer, the reduction in risk soared to 54%. When people delayed taking niacinamide until after subsequent skin cancers, the benefit began to decline. The benefit was seen for basal cell carcinoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and overall skin cancer, with the greatest benefit being seen for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. This suggests that taking iacinamide decreases the risk of skin cancer, when taken after the first skin cancer. Sarah Arron, MD, PhD, who wrote an accompanying editorial for the study, states “this should change our practice.”... JAMA Dermatol. September 17, 2025;doi:10.1001/jamadermatol.2025.3238.

Ginkgo Biloba Proves Itself AGAIN for Mild Dementia
Ginkgo is probably the best, and best studied, herb for dementia and Alzheimer’s. This new meta-analysis adds to that foundation.

The new meta-analysis of 4 studies of ginkgo included 1,598 people with mild
dementia. The dose of Ginkgo biloba extract was 240mg a day, and the studies
lasted 22-24 weeks. The ginkgo significantly improved scores of memory, cognitive performance, neuropsychiatric inventory, activities of daily life and global assessment. And ginkgo did all of this safely...World J Biol Psychiatry. February 2025;3:1-11.

Managing Pain…PEA
Managing pain has proven to be a challenge for science. Existing pharmaceutical painkillers are limited by their disappointing efficacy and considerable side effects. But there is a little known natural supplement that is showing tremendous promise for its power over pain and for its safety.

Palmitoylethanolamide, or PEA for short, is naturally made in your body. It has strong immune and antidepressant effects. But it is also powerfully anti-inflammatory, pain relieving and neuroprotective.

Several studies have found that PEA can manage many kinds of pain because it works in many different ways. One double-blind study found that 400mg of PEA taken 3 times a day reduces many kinds of pain by reducing central and peripheral sensitivity to pain and increasing pain inhibition as a pain modulator (Nutrients. 2022 Oct;14(19):4084).
A meta-analysis of 10 controlled studies of pain found that PEA is significantly superior to controls for reducing pain. It had the important bonus of being remarkably safe (Pain Physician. 2017 Jul;20(5):353-362). \Now a new meta-analysis adds to the evidence for PEA as a painkiller. The new meta-analysis included 18 controlled studies with 1,196 people. Once again, it showed that PEA helps manage a wide range of types of pain. PEA significantly reduced pain compared to controls, and quality of life, including pain-related quality of life, was significantly higher in the PEA group.

PEA was effective for all types of pain studied, including nociceptive pain caused by tissue damage, like cuts, burns or bruises; neuropathic pain, or pain caused by nerve damage; and nociplastic pain, or chronic pain caused by the altered processing of pain by the central nervous system. This new meta-analysis “confirms” that PEA reduces pain and improves quality of life while being safe and free of opioids’ risk of abuse and dependency….Nutr Rev. 2025 Jul 1;83(7):e1604-e1618.

Two more double-blind studies have demonstrated the benefits of
asparagus root extract for menopausal women. In the first (Functional Foods in
Health and Disease 2025;15(7):415-443), the extract was standardized to 15%
shatavarins and the dose was either 50 or 100mg. The study lasted 120 days.
The 50 women in this study were all between 40 and 50 and were perimenopausal.
Improvement on the Menopausal Rating Scale was significantly better on the
asparagus root. Total score was reduced by 22.8% in the placebo group but by a
significantly better 51.4% in the 50mg group and 73% in the 100mg group.
Menstrual Symptom Questionnaire Scores improved by 36% in the placebo
group, by 166.75% in the 50mg asparagus group and 178.8% in the 100mg
group. While hot flashes were reduced by 7.76% in the placebo group, they
dropped by 27.62% in the 50mg asparagus group and by 39.81 in the 100mg
group.

In the second study by the same group of researchers (J Am Nutr Assoc. 2025
May 28:1-11), 50 perimenopausal women between 40 and 50 were given either a
placebo or 200mg a day of asparagus root extract (standardization not specified)
for 120 days. Once again, total scores in the asparagus group improved
significantly more on the Menopausal Rating Scale and on the Hot Flash Weekly
Weighted Score. Painful periods also improved significantly more. Interestingly,
skin and hair quality also improved significantly more.

Introducing Asparagus: New Herbal Help for Menopausal Women

Well know as a food, it is not at all well known as a medicinal herb. But recent
research is showing that asparagus root extract can offer real help to women
going through menopause. In North America, it is rarely used as a herb as in Asia and Europe, where all parts of the plant are used. Traditionally, the
root has been used as a diuretic and laxative as well as for high blood pressure
and rheumatism. In India, asparagus root, or shatavari as it is known in the
Ayurvedic tradition of healing, is used as a diuretic, and anti-inflammatory and to
strengthen the female reproductive system.

It is this last use, the female reproductive system, that has recently triggered
interest in modern science. In 2024, a double-blind study (Cureus. April 8,
2024;16(4):e57879) gave 70 women who were either perimenopausal or who
had entered menopause either a placebo or 250mg twice a day of an asparagus
root extract standardized for no less than 5% shatavarins for 60 days.
The women taking the asparagus root had significantly fewer hot flashes and
night sweats than the women taking the placebo. They also fared significantly
better in urinary incontinence, fatigue, sleep problems, mood swings and loss of
libido.

The asparagus group did significantly better in total score on a menopause
quality of life scale (UQoL), as well as in all domain scores, including
occupational, health, emotional, and sexual UQoL scores. They also did
significantly better on a scale of depression, anxiety and stress and they slept better. (DASS-21) On the Regensburg Insomnia Scale, the women on asparagus
root had deep sleep, better quality of sleep and daytime functioning....more Tomorrow on this amazing Root:)

Natural Supplements Help to Grow Your Hair Back
Androgenic alopecia, or male pattern hair loss, and female androgenic alopecia affect a lot of people. There are only two approved drugs on the market, and neither of them work very well. But some herbs do. If you added those herbs to those drugs, would the drugs work better?

Minoxidil and finasteride are the only two FDA‐approved drugs for male and female androgenic alopecia. But only about 20% of people who use them get substantial results. This 6 month study compared the effectiveness of the drugs alone with the effectiveness of the drugs when natural supplements were added. The supplements included 320mg of saw palmetto extract, 320mg of pumpkin seed extract, 425mg of L-cystine along with vitamin C and zinc.

The results were significant and astonishing. 36.5% of the supplement group experienced much improvement compared to 24% of the drug only group. 46% of the supplement group felt that the improvement in their hair was great compared to 30% of the drug only group. This study shows that adding saw palmetto, pumpkin seed and the accompanying nutrients significantly increases the efficacy of hair loss drugs...J Cosmet Dermatol. 2025 Aug 25;24(9):e70388.
