Rate Change Update!!!

Lifemark's Alberta management was able to make changes to the rate changes. The good new is that the increase will not be as much. Here are the updated rates that are in effect as of today.

30min - $80
45min - $92.50
60min - $100
90min - $135

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give you a heads up on some changes at Lifemark. If you haven't heard, Lifemark was recently sold to new owners. What would affect you is the pricing for massage therapy treatments. As of April 4, 2022, prices will be as follow:
90 minute: $145.00 + GST ($152.25)
60 minute: $105.00 + GST ($110.25)
45 minute: $92.50 + GST ($97.13)
30 minute: $80.00 + GST ($84.00)
Please know that neither I or Lifemark Grande Prairie had any control over the price changes, it is unfortunately a sign of the times. Everyone at Lifemark, myself included, will always strive to provide you with amazing care, and that will not change! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Hi Everyone!

I know it has been a while since I’ve posted but I wanted to give you an update on a few things.

Firstly, Lifemark has a new phone number. It is (780) 539-5088 and I have updated the number on this page.

Secondly, I went back to school this fall! I am taking the TEN Education Program at GPRC. This has created some changes in my schedule. The most significant of which is that I will not be working for the next five weeks due to my first practicum. I am really excited about this new challenge but want to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Thirdly, I do not have my school schedule for January yet. Once I do, I will create my work schedule and post on here. My hours may be very limited during the semester, but I plan to increase my hours again once the semester is over.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you when I am back in the office in mid December!

Hi Everyone! I wanted to give you a quick update. I was just informed that Lifemark is increasing their massage prices. The new prices come into effect on March 1, and are as follows:
90 min: $135 plus GST
60 min: $95 plus GST
45 min: $85 plus GST
30 min: $75 plus GST

Great news! I am returning to work next week! My first day back will be Tuesday, January 5th. All clients now require a referral from a regulated healthcare provider (ie. doctor, physiotherapist, chiropractor, and so on). If you have a note stating a need for massage therapy from one of those practitioners from the last 12 months, feel free to email it to grande.prairie@lifemark.ca. The note will be kept on file in case the province audits us. This new measure is provincial stipulation for massage therapists returning to work. I apologize for any inconvenience this may present for anyone. The office is closed to today but feel free to call them tomorrow at 780-532-7077 to book an appointment. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Hi everyone! Today’s news update just announced that massage therapy has been given an exemption from COVID-19 restrictions. While this is very exciting, the government has yet to release a date or other restrictions surrounding our return to work. I will post on here when more information has been released. Hopefully I get to see everyone in the office again soon!

Just a quick update in the midst of COVID-19. Lifemark decided Monday night to stop services that require physical contact to adhere to the recommendations of social distancing. I agree with their decision and will let everyone know when I am back in the clinic treating clients. I apologize for the inconvenience, as I know many of my clients rely on our treatments for pain relief and management. If anyone has any questions about pain management they can try at home, feel free to contact me. I am excited to see everyone again once COVID-19 is behind us!

I am excited to announce that I start at Lifemark on Tuesday, Jan 28th. If you are a client that prebooks appointments, you can email grande.prairie@lifemark.ca and they will rebook those slots. Otherwise, you can call the office at 780-532-7077. Lifemark offers some services clients have been requesting, like online booking and text reminders. Please be patient during this transition, as it may take some time to have me added to their online booking portal. As per usual, if you have any questions, please feel free to let me know!
