The Lore & Legends Guild Ren Faire is a week away!!! 🎪🤺I can't wait. If you need moooore crystals, candles, incense and tarot decks, you'll find them there at my booth. I also have some special items I brought in just for the Fair. I'll be posting some sneak peeks after Labour Day. Have a great long weekend everyone! 😀⛺️

The Lore & Legends Guild Renn Faire is less than a month away. I'm super excited that I will be there with my Faint & Faery booth. I have some very cool Norse/Celtic items that will be for sale as well as my latest handcrafted creations. My elven merchant outfit is almost complete. I've always wanted to go to a Renn Faire but figured I'd have my guitar and be a bard. *shrug* Anyhoo - if you're in the area on Sep 6 stop by my booth (it is tentatively marked as next to the Adventurer's Guild - woot)

Happy Full Sturgeon Moon! 🌝🐬. This moon is also called the Corn Moon and I can believe it because I have a few on stalks that look just about ready! According to sources Northern Lights activity should be high tonight and tomorrow especially in our region. Maybe we'll get lucky and see some around the moon. If you do, share pics in the comments. 😀📸

I actually got some half decent looking corn stalks this year. Pretty excited about it. Made the corn dolly a few years back... didn't have the heart to turn her into an effigy. 🤣

Been so busy with planting and camping, I just took a breath and realized... it's almost Lammas!!! I'm going to be celebrating while planning for a busy September full of super fun vendor shows. Happy almost Lammas & hope to see you in Sept!!

I guess since the Solstice falls at 8:42 pm MST then it's still officially Midsummer Eve until then. So with that in mind - Happy Midsummer Eve & Midsummer!!

Plan to do most of my celebrating tomorrow with friends but did a run through the garden and noticed my thyme is blooming!!! Have a wonderful Midsummer weekend of celebrating the season. 🔥🌸☀️

Happy Fri the 13. I'm looking for some good luck with the wildfires today and all this rain. 🐈☔️

Friday the 13th is feared by many & has long been associated with ‘bad luck’. Rather than fearing Friday the 13th, many Witches consider it good luck & choose to embrace it as a day rich with magical potential;
* associated with the 13 cycles of the Moon in a lunar year.
* women usually have 13 menstrual cycles & ovulate on the 13th day.
* the Death tarot is number 13; meaning change & positive transformation.
* in Norse Mythology, Friday is named after F***g (or F***ga), who is the Goddess of love, fertility & prophecy. This connection imbues the day with a sense of empowerment & spiritual significance.

Many Witches view Friday 13th as an opportunity to harness this energy for personal growth & transformation. It’s seen as a time to set intentions, perform rituals & engage in practices that promote healing & manifestation.

* Rituals & practices;
- cleansing & protection: performing rituals to clear negative energy & protect oneself.
- divination: engaging in practices like tarot reading or scrying to gain insight.
- setting intentions: writing down goals & desires & focusing on manifesting them.
- honouring the Divine Feminine: creating alters or offerings associated with Friday.
