TMJ massage can help relieve pain and reduce tension in the jaw muscles, often associated with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Massages can also improve jaw mobility and reduce symptoms like headaches, ear pain, and facial pain. TMJ massage can be done with intraoral treatment with nitrile gloves being worn to treat the internal muscles of the jaw. If the client is not comfortable the intraoral treatment, it can be left out, please let the therapist know your comfort level during the treatment! This 60 minute treatment also involves extensive neck and shoulder work.
If this is something you might benefit from, book in with Bailee Bolitho, RMT on our website and select TMJ 60 min as the service!
