Lefse-making day was a hit at the day program today. We mixed, rolled and had a great time every step of the way. Nothing brings people together like good food and good company! 🇳🇴

Yesterday, we practiced our cooking skills and made a Lapskaus Stew! The participants did every part of the recipe, from cooking the meat to peeling and cutting the vegetables. We have been having so much fun learning about the different cultures around the world!

Lots of fun is happening here at the day program! The participants made sock gnomes last week, and today we have started to dive into the foods and nutrition in Norway! We also tried our luck with a Reindeer ring toss this morning. Later today, we will learn how to make a Norwegian dessert, and throughout the week, we will sample foods from Norway!

This week was our first week exploring Norway's culture and geography! We were busy this week, and learned about the Northern Lights 🌌, basket weaving, and the Vikings!
We are looking forward to next week, when we will be learning about food and nutrition in Norway. Next week, we will be doing 2 cooking classes, including a traditional stew recipe and Lefse 🥔!

Greece Month is still in full swing! Yesterday, we created our own Medusa self-portraits and explored Greek landmarks. Today, we are getting cozy and watching Clash of the Titans! We have learned a lot about Greece and are excited to continue exploring the country! 🇬🇷🗺️

We were BLOWN AWAY with the support this past weekend! 🤯
When we opened the doors at 9am on Friday, there was already a line-up waiting - and within the first 20-30 minutes, over 50 people came through the doors! 🧡

Thank you all so much for the incredible support. It truly means the world to our participants and us.
