Wendy Pilger - Receptionist

Wendy is originally from Toronto and has lived in Gravenhurst for the last 40 years. She is recently widowed and has two adult children and one grandchild. Wendy and her husband have been very involved in the local community through Lions, Rotary, Therapeutic Paws, Kennel Club, Muskoka Winter Carnival and Scouting.

Wendy has worked as an administrative assistant for a local social services agency, customer service and ticket usher at Casino Rama as well as being a dog groomer. She came out of early retirement to take on the role of receptionist at Gravenhurst Manor.

Wendy is a former volunteer who would regularly visit with the residents with her therapy dog, Pumpkin, who loves bringing smiles to the residents’ faces.

She is actively involved with her golden retrievers in a wide variety of disciplines, including pet therapy, conformation, obedience, agility, field and sprinter. In her spare time, she enjoys diamond dot painting, karaoke and spending time with family.

My name is Brent Crosbie.
I have been the Culinary Manager at The Gravenhurst Manor for the last Year. Before my position at the Manor, I spent most of my career split between working in restaurants and Retirement homes as a Dietary aide and a PSW.

I really enjoy working at the Manor. It allows me to combine my two deepest passions in one place. My deep passion for people and food. My hobbies are pretty simple. I love to fish, cook, help people and, most importantly, spend time with my fiance and two young children. That is the best part about this job. Most Chefs are not home until late in the evening. I get to put my kids to bed.

Frank has lived in the Gravenhurst / Severn Bridge area for over 20 years. He enjoys spending time with Gail for 25+ years. His accomplishments in construction include building a 3,000 sq ft log home and renovating several homes.
