May the (musical) 4th be with you - glockenspiel style! Did you know? A glockenspiel is metal bars, whereas a xylophone is wooden bars! And we may use a glockenspiel for goals of hand-eye coordination, attention, or following direction!

That rewarding moment of connection when you realize that an autistic client who continues to say: "Season 4, episode 29" and change the episode numbers, is actually referring to the 4th month, 29th day! Then you start to reference dates the same way and the smile that comes on their face, realizing you understand, is so beautiful! 🫶👊💡🖥️ 🩵

It's always SO great to go to Caron Compassion and today was no exception! A special moment in memory of a mom, the magic of the guitar bringing about response and connection that usually isn't seen, allowing for choices, playing instruments, singing, dancing - all amazing! Always love my time with them!
