update regarding our 2026 wedding season... were getting married!!! 💍✨🤍

Ethan and I got engaged in Nova Scotia back in October and were lucky enough to score an engagement session with the day after we flew home. ive been so excited to share these AMAZING pictures, couldnt imagine announcing our love any other way 🤍 Brooklyn made our session so easy, and captured our love perfectly. truly could not recommend her more. she also made our on leash, insane rescue hounds look like perfect angel babies which is no easy feat but meant so much🐾

what does this mean for Sophie Rose Floral Company? i will be closing my 2026 books as of now. i may take on small wedding packages, one off orders and proposals, but will not be accepting any more full service weddings. if your deposit has been paid or i have otherwise confirmed your wedding for 2026, youre all good!

looking forward to an extra special wedding season in 2026 ✨

look who it is!! did you miss us? just a quarterly reminder that were still here!! what a better way to catch up then with a lil owner re-intro 💫

- im the owner of Sophie Rose Floral Company, which I started back in the depths of covid in 2020
- i moved to northern ontario back in 2022 with my 2 dogs, bought a house, found my person, and brought my biz along with me
- i work full time as a corporateish girly, in the complaints department of a super cool fintech
- when i started SRFC, i was taking on 20ish weddings a year and recently decided to cut down to 5ish
- ive worked in the wedding industry for 8 years, starting as an event designer with the ever wonderful
- i hate posting to socials, or rather i love it, but find it anxiety provoking at best

if you made it this far, love you for it. a lot of the passion and drive and energy i poured into weddings for the last several years is now being poured into camping trips, home renos, and my garden (🤭). i do not see a world without SRFC, but may continue to be a little quieter and slower.

dont worry! there are some more weddings and exciting things in the books, and you can still find my dried bouquets at (when i find the time to restock). thanks for sticking with me 💖✨🌿

i wouldnt be here as a person or as a business owner without the amazing women who have influenced and empowered me. ive experienced working in male dominated fields as well as female, and one thing ive learned is how important it is to always be a girls girl 🎀
