You may have noticed a few new faces around the hospital in the last few months so we thought we would formally introduce you to our new crew members!

Meet Nicole! She has a double role within the hospital as a Receptionist and Animal Care Attendant! 🌞

Nicole is true Sudburian being born and raised in our wonderful city! She attended Cambrian College for Social Work and Policing but ultimately decided that these career paths were not for her. She then decided to pursue a career as a Lab Tech Assistant where she got to experience part of the medical field. This created a passion for medical care which then led her to Veterinary Medicine!

She currently owns a Shepherd mix named Ivy. Her family has various nicknames for her like Tron, Bugs Bugaloo and many more. Her dream pet would be to own a Tibetan Mastiff or a St. Bernard one day.

Her favorite holiday is Christmas (you may have noticed her festive scrubs that she started wearing in November 😆). She was also responsible for the amazing decorations that were placed around the hospital. She is loving working with our team and her easy going personality has fit in so well with us!

When not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Please help us in officially welcoming Nicole to the Cambrian family! ❤️🤍🖤

Meet Yolandi!

She is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter.

Here's a little bit about her:

"This sweet girl has been in our care for 41 days with little to no interest, and it’s hard to believe—because she’s truly something special. Yolandi is a Shiba Inu with the spunkiest one of a kind personality; while we know she isn’t the dog for just anyone, we’re hopeful her person will come along soon. She makes us laugh every single day and is as adorable as they come. ✨"

Shoutout to Dr. Marie + Sarah (RVT) from Cambrian, and Dr. Wanda + Siobhan (RVT) from Baxter — for hands-on learning, perfecting techniques, asking questions, & sharing lots of laughs under expert guidance!

These mentorship moments make our whole network stronger and keep every pet smiling brighter with top-tier dental care.

Meet Buddy Holly!

He is this week's pet of the week and is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter.

Here's a little bit about him:

Buddy Holly is a 2-year-old Husky with the looks of a winter-season model and the heart of a gentle soul waiting to shine.

With his striking coat and soulful eyes, he turns heads everywhere he goes — but what he really wants is someone who sees him and is ready to help him blossom.

Buddy is the perfect match for someone outdoorsy and active. Whether it’s hiking snowy trails, exploring forest paths, or simply enjoying the crisp morning air, he’s built for adventure and eager to discover the world with a trusted human by his side.

This handsome boy is still learning to build confidence, so he’ll need an adopter who’s patient, understanding, and excited to help bring him out of his shell. Once he warms up, his sweet and cuddly personality shines bright — it just takes a little time and love.

Buddy Holly is dog-selective, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is required to ensure it’s a perfect match. Due to his high prey drive, a cat-free home is required to adopt.
