We back baby! 🏃🏼♀️
Running has always been my favourite activity. It clears my head like no other, and leaves me with a “glow” feeling all day (that super red face eventually fades 🍅).
It’s so nice to see that how I’m feeling in my runs again 1 year post partum matches the fitness gains I’m seeing. I lost running around 5 months into my pregnancy as it cause me wayyyyy too much pelvic pain. On the other side I was extremely lucky to have been able to start back up around 2 months post partum despite having a c-section. 💉 🔪
Running is different now. I’m either pushing an extra 25lbs (stroller and little man), or fitting it in between work, baby time, and food/house prep. I’m not pounding the pavement as often as I use to, but honestly, my joints are thanking me. 🦴 🩵
Pregnancy and post partum has taught me a lot of recovery, which really I already knew but chose not to follow sometimes 🤷♀️
Stay tuned for some tips and tricks on recovery and consistency post partum, because let’s be real, its a whole different ball game now 💛
