Here's a little SNEAK peak at some of our photos from the event!! Thank you again to Roam and Ramble Photography (photos from our Valley space) and to The Memories We Keep (photos from our Lorne space).

Next in our Strong and Calm-Athon PROCESS is to get a list of referral partners - the lovely women who apply for funding need to be seeing a pre-approved "provider" of services. This could be a chiropractor, physiotherapist, registered dietician, etc. These are providers who would typically be covered under a benefits plan and who people typically seek care from in order to return to fitness activities after an injury or postpartum.

If you know a care provider who should be on our list please send them this post! Have them complete our simple form. We will discuss process with them and add them to our list! Funds are provided directly to care providers when a recipient is approved/selected for funding.

PS - Before I get a ton of questions - we will be creating two full albums of the photos from our incredible photographers!!

We have some VERY important wrap up posts for our Strong and Calm-Athon 2026. Our final sponsor shout out post goes to our incredible DOOR PRIZE sponsors. In a VERY short amount of time we had 10 local businesses reach out and donate over $3000 in prizes for our participants. Incredible!!

Many of these donors are clients and they are ALL supporters of the Pay Fit Forward cause. We cannot thank them enough for helping make this event a success!!

Louise Sabourin of Optimize Asset Management - purchased this amazing basket from Le Petit Panier. We lovingly called this “the big ass basket”

Wooden Toy Library
Eternal Tao HQ
Tamika Carlson from BIG Insurance put such a lovely self care basket together.
Ethereal Skin - Holistic Facials
SAC Rust Control
Amazing sign from Steph at Molly & Maija
Custom tumbler from Les Petitis Profs.

We even learned about some new businesses in town!

Show them some LOOOOOOVE!!!

We have some VERY important wrap up posts for our Strong and Calm-Athon 2026. There were three categories of Sponsors to thank, this post we are thanking our FOOD Sponsors!

We have two spaces at Lorne - our A side and our B side. These spaces were sponsored by:
Mor In Pools
Inspire Physio

Our Valley East Food sponsor was:
Dar & Bob’s Getaway Lodge

Our Arc Climbing and Yoga Food Sponsor was:
Vita Chiropractic and Wellness Centre

And our food sponsor at The Basement was:
AMP Physiotherapy Sudbury

PLUS we had Rose’s Kitchen back this year with her INCREDIBLE Cupcakes - number one comment on our feedback forms again!!

And we had Alex Muirhead Holistic Wellness supply her delicious tea to all 5 spaces!

We don’t move without fueling our bodies and these businesses made that possible so that we could have some snacks without impacting the overall fundraising of our event.

Show them some LOOOOOOVE!!!

We have some VERY important wrap up posts for our Strong and Calm-Athon 2026. There were three categories of Sponsors to thank, and we are kicking that off today with our location sponsors, event sponsors and capture sponsors.

We had two additional locations host this year. The Basement was back for year two and has been a great supporter of our event! This year we had Arc Climbing and Yoga come on board as well. We covered the city pretty well with our own west end location on Lorne, plus our Valley space.

We had several sponsors make contributions to help us cover the costs of the event - I will make a separate FULL transparency post about how the numbers played out this year! These incredible businesses made it possible for us to run this event at ZERO cost:

Louise Sabourin at Optimize Asset Management
Chantal at Qualitica Consulting
Vanessa at The Pink Syringe
The new amazing owners at Mor In Pools - you’ll see them in our next post too.
Sheri and her team at Plan A Staffing and Recruitment

PLUS we had three businesses help us by capturing some of the days images and videos.

Our social team at Barlume.
Photography at Lorne was provided by Memories We Keep
Photography in The Valley was provided by Roam and Ramble Photography

Join us on March 29th at 12PM for 90 minutes of learning....with snacks of course!

Nourishing for Exercise is an interactive workshop designed to help you fuel your body for endurance and strength training—without falling into the dieting trap. We’ll break down protein needs and benefits, and highlight a couple micronutrients that also support fitness goals. Participants will sample easy protein snack options to discover satisfying choices that fit their lifestyle. We’ll also explore how dieting negatively impacts metabolism and emotions, and practice mindful eating and body awareness as sustainable, self-care–centered alternatives. You’ll leave with practical tools and clear intentions to support your training in the week ahead.

Michelle Broughton is a Registered Dietitian with nine years of experience helping clients become the healthiest versions of themselves through personalized nutrition support and achievable, meaningful goals. With degrees in both nutrition and psychology, she brings a holistic approach that supports sustainable mindset shifts and a healthier relationship with food. Her work focuses on breaking free from binge‑restrict cycles, fostering body kindness, and creating long‑term habits that feel realistic and empowering. Having lived and practiced in northern and remote communities, she understands the unique challenges people face in accessing resources and meeting their wellness goals.

Sign up is $39 plus tax before March 20 and then the price goes up to $49! Don't miss the early bird pricing!! The sign up is in our App under Workshops.

Own. It.

I am Michelle. Above all I am a mother of four incredible little beings. I am a certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Agatsu Kettlebell Coach and Healthy Eating Coach. I am a coach who also participates fully as a fitness enthusiast, a runner and yogi. I speak from the heart and have no filter left to tolerate bull s**t.

How can I relate to you? As a coach I feel it’s important to be able to relate to my clients. I am a remarried widow by su***de, how’s that for a label? I have been overweight, I have been depressed, I have experienced grief, I still struggle with my own mental health. All that once was in my life has changed. If you have experienced a significant change in your way of being perhaps you will find you can relate to me. This is My Round Two. I would be honoured to help you find yours.
