Core Vitality has grown from a local postpartum fitness program to a full maternal support service from fertility, pregnancy, birth and into postpartum. I offer Doula services virtually or in-person, as well as teaching the Core Vitality Method online or in-person. What was once a local fitness program is now a tried, tested and true fitness & movement method to guide you safety and functionally into parenthood. The Core Vitality Method is a three step process that involves breath work, neurological rewiring of the core, and of course FITNESS. There are over 200 Core Vitality alumni that can vouch for this method so come and join the community!

The 3A principle for labour: Asymmetry, Affirmations, and Absorption.

We’ll be diving into all of this in my two-part Body Ready Birth class, including how asymmetrical movement helps your baby navigate the mid-pelvis and progress more smoothly.

You’ll walk away with practical tools, real anatomy-based insight, and confidence in how to actually support labour.

Class runs this weekend in Sudbury, and trust me, you’ll want to be there for this one.

We’ve all heard the stories: the friend whose baby was sunny-side-up, the one who said, “My baby just never dropped down,” or “Back labour was the worst.”

All of those things come back to the same root: the baby finding (or struggling to find) optimal space in the pelvis.

Fetal rotation isn’t random. It’s about angles, balance, and movement. And when you know how to create that space, you can make labour more efficient and comfortable without spending hours waiting for baby to navigate a tricky position.

That’s exactly what I teach in Body Ready Birth. You’ll learn how to prepare your body ahead of time and how to use specific, evidence-based movements during labour to support rotation and descent.

Classes run November 9th and 23rd in Sudbury, perfect for winter due dates.

Early labour can feel long, especially if you start focusing too soon.

Distract: Find something that keeps your mind busy and your body relaxed. Walk, bake, watch a show, fold baby clothes, anything that helps you stay out of your head and in your body.

Rest: This is the big one. Conserve your energy. Use some of the Body Ready Method® rest positions that support progress while still letting your body relax. Think restorative, not idle.

Nourish: Eat. Drink. Keep your body fuelled for the long game. Think easy carbs, fruit, broth, smoothies, whatever sits well and keeps your energy steady.

It’s about protecting your reserves, not powering through.

I go deeper into all of this in my Body Ready Birth classes: how to do the inner work and use specific movements strategically through every stage of labour.

Next series runs November 9th and 23rd in Sudbury

So excited for this year’s Spooky Stroller Fit Party! 🎃

It’s officially sold out, and I can’t wait to see everyone out there — costumes, strollers, and all. I’ve got the mini pumpkins ready for your “weights,” because of course we’re working out in the woods with pumpkins.

Northern Ontario fitness at its finest. See you out there. 🍂

It’s true — the location of your contractions can actually tell us a lot about where your baby is moving through the pelvis.

You might hear this referred to as your baby’s station or what level of the pelvis they’re navigating. And depending on that position, you may feel your contractions in different areas of your body.

In my Birth Prep Classes, I break down what those sensations can mean and how you and your partner can use that knowledge to support labour in real time.

Next classes run November 9th and 23rd in Sudbury — perfect for December due dates or later. Link in bio to register.

If your due date’s in December (or later), this one’s for you.

My Body Ready Birth Prep Classes are running in Sudbury on November 9th and 23rd — two cozy Sunday mornings designed to get you and your partner fully ready for birth.

We’ll dig into movement, positioning, and mindset so you actually understand what your body’s doing in labour — and how to support it. You’ll leave with real, hands-on tools that make birth feel less like guessing and more like knowing.

It’s fun, it’s intensive (in the best way), and it’s the perfect way to spend a couple of Sunday mornings before baby arrives.

Register through the link in my bio — spots are limited.
