Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces ♓️ Let it Flow!

Dear Star Tribe, Bonjour! 💙
Sending peaceful love waves to everyone. This total Lunar Eclipse is the first of two important eclipses along the Virgo–Pisces axis. The eclipse is exact on September 7 at 2:08 pm ET, marking the peak of the current lunar cycle that began on August 23.

This is a time of culmination, closure, and powerful emotional release. The key is to be as gentle, kind, and accepting as possible—with yourself, with others, with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Thank you for diving in and exploring these epic energies with me. Allow yourself to get comfortable, breathe deeply, and take your time to feel and process. Here we go!

Earlier this week, I went for a walk by a local lake on a warm, windy day—perfect for sailing and windsurfing. I saw a huge number of sailboats riding the waves swiftly. The sailors would sometimes surrender to the flow, then suddenly pull hard on the ropes to change direction and navigate safely. It was beautiful to watch and reminded me of Virgo’s earthy, practical intelligence working in harmony with Pisces’ intuitive magic.

I’ve often heard astrologers say that lunar eclipses are like Full Moons on steroids. To me, eclipses are mysterious, yet I find this one especially fascinating and clear—perhaps because I am quite Piscean myself, lol. I imagine powerful mystical waves propelling us forward, like a sudden gust of wind pushing our boat faster. The best approach is to relax, surrender, and go with the flow of this process with as much grace as possible.

With the Sun, Mercury, and the South Node all closely aligned in Virgo, we need to examine Virgo’s shadow, which is what this eclipse asks us to release: patterns of self-criticism, judgment of others, perfectionism, stressful performance, shame, guilt, or anxiety. Then comes the invitation to replace these with gentle acceptance, compassion, and self-love. Life is not happening to us—it is happening for us, for our highest good.

Pisces teaches us to move forward without knowing exactly where we’re going, to trust our intuitive and extrasensory perceptions beyond logic. It is the realm of dreams, synchronicities, and soul wisdom. The universe is asking us to be present with divine mystery, to honor what is closing, and to welcome what is emerging.

Dreaming and creative visualization are immensely potent through 2025 and 2026, as Saturn aligns with Neptune alongside these Pisces eclipses. This is a profound two-year phase of making the dream real. What do you most wish, hope, dream, fantasize, or long for? These are soul callings—and they matter deeply now. Every soul, and the world itself, needs a bold new vision of what our hearts truly desire.

If we don’t allow ourselves to feel and envision what we want, confusion and despair take root—serving no one. In fact, confusion benefits darker agendas that make populations easier to control. By embracing our authentic soul desires, we raise our personal and collective vibration, nourishing inner peace, harmony, and joy.

Where focus goes, energy flows. More than ever, it’s important to place our calm attention on what we want to heal, create, or manifest—in the months ahead and into 2026, since eclipse cycles unfold over six months.

Many of us may feel like we’re in a time warp: Uranus turned retrograde just two days before this eclipse, and Saturn recently returned to 29° Pisces. Reality itself seems to be shifting and morphing. I recently learned about “retrocausality” in quantum physics—the idea that what we do in the future can affect the past. Trippy indeed, but also deeply Piscean: the interconnectedness and fluidity of time.

This eclipse can open our shamanic eyes—to see, listen, feel, and communicate with both our inner and outer worlds. It helps us better understand what our soul is ready to release, and what it longs to move toward. The karmic waters are stirring and churning. May this eclipse help you see your past with compassion and illuminate your path forward.

✨ Let it flow! This is a time of endings, closures, and uncertainties—yet also new beginnings of all kinds. We are releasing very old personal and collective stories. In this vast transition, allow whatever arises—physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually—to move through you. The Pisces Full Moon always highlights the healing magic of water and the sparkle of sun and moonlight on its surface. I feel increasingly drawn to that shimmering light, which resonates with newish dwarf planet Salacia, goddess of the sea and consort of Neptune. Water is life; it holds memory forever. Recently, I enjoyed a cedar foot soak and sound bath at Tree of Life North—so nourishing! New Moon in Virgo ♍️ Seeds of Sacred Renewal

Big love to everyone! Thank you for exploring the wisdom of the stars with me and for sharing your views and perspectives. This important New Moon in Virgo occurs on August 23 at 2:07 am ET. It is the first of two consecutive Virgo New Moons, setting up the upcoming eclipse cycle. The Sun and Moon align in the very first degree of Virgo, representing pure, raw potential — the birthing of new possibilities with a sense of urgency. And yet, Virgo season is also about deep embodiment.

I recently visited a local Farmers’ Market — such a beautiful image of Virgo’s magic. It was wonderful to see, touch, feel, smell, and taste all the fresh abundance, and to mingle with people. I love noticing the marvelous synchronicities between the cycles of the seasons and our communal activities. When the Sun enters Virgo, it signals a time to gather the fruits of the harvest, rejoice in nature’s generosity, and share the bounty with the community.

This Virgo New Moon opens a renewed connection to the grounding and supportive magic of the Earth. In this phase of the year, we feel an instinctive desire to clean and organize our space, and to initiate healthier, more efficient ways of living. No other zodiac sign embodies the Body–Mind relationship as powerfully as Virgo. We want to attune to the natural rhythms and intelligence flowing in nature and within our own bodies.

The dynamic Virgo impulse within each of us inspires healing, improvement, detoxification, purification, and beautification of both our inner and outer environments. Can you feel this? Virgo and harvest season remind us that whole fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, and flowers are nature’s most universal medicines.

I’ve noticed that many of my friends who are yoga teachers, nutritionists, wellness coaches, and healers often have strong Virgo energy in their charts — Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or several planets in Virgo. I myself carry a strong Virgo signature, and I practice astrology with the intention of healing, harmonizing, and optimizing the mind, body, soul, and spirit.

Let’s explore the important planetary influences of this New Moon that energize the entire lunation cycle. The most powerful influence is Uranus, at 1° Gemini, forming a tight 90° square with the Sun and Moon. Uranus — planet of lightning, earthquakes, sudden change, and awakening — can feel wild or chaotic, but its true purpose is transformation.

Its role here is to stimulate new awakenings in our consciousness and expand our urges toward freedom, independence, invention, and innovation, especially regarding health, wellness, and vitality. This can feel both exciting and dynamic.

This New Moon also forms geometric connections with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius. In technical terms, this creates a Yod pattern, also called the Finger of Destiny. To be honest, there may be times when this energy feels uncomfortable, because it asks us to make adjustments, optimize our flow, and reorient our path. We’ve reached a moment where conventional thinking no longer works as it used to. It’s time for bolder dreams.

Uranus in Gemini challenges us to receive fresh energy, new ideas, new decisions, new solutions, and new inspirations — all arriving with divine purpose and timing. These influences are designed to awaken and accelerate our mental capacities with intuitive understanding, flashes of deep insight, and clarity. Just yesterday, I felt this when I made a quick decision that normally would have taken much longer.

This New Moon inspires action that may have been percolating inside us for some time. We can now access our higher mind more swiftly and make choices that feel aligned in body and spirit. Perfection is impossible, but when we engage Virgo energy in overdrive, we can strive relentlessly to be perfect through blood, sweat, and tears. The higher path of Virgo is mindfulness — being present and patient in the process of any life activity. Virgo is meditation in action.

Allow the earthy magic of this New Moon to inspire you to create a sacred ritual or ceremony. Plant seeds of intention in fertile Earth, and visualize them sprouting and growing strong over the coming weeks and months.

Virgo also correlates with the principle of service. I’ve come to see that our greatest service is showing up for ourselves with love and grace, and maintaining solid physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual hygiene. Honouring our personal healing journey ripples outward, helping to heal collective and ancestral wounds. Genuine service is showing up in the world with kindness and maintaining a peaceful vibration — ready to help people, animals, and the Earth.

Let’s notice how our service wants to evolve by practicing our craft with more soul, heart, intention, quality, and authenticity. When we aren’t encouraged to work with soul, we can easily lose inspiration — the very fuel that keeps us alive and fulfilled.

Full Moon in Aquarius ✨♒️✨ — Be Who You Truly Are!

What a Moon! I don’t know about y’all, but this week was equally intense and magical! I experienced a profound emotional roller-coaster of peaks and valleys — like the wavy lines in the glyph for Aquarius! I am a bit late with this report as I am still busy processing all these deep and rich experiences. Thank you for your patience. This is a rich post, full of insights from many sources so take your time to read and reflect. I am so grateful you’re here. I would love to hear what you think and feel at this time. When we connect with people who share our desire for freedom and individuality, we develop a more collective mindset, shining our light for the global community. I allow myself to express my true, unique genius, which in turn frees others to shine their unique light.

August is a month of unexpected and unpredictable events, much like the energies of 2025. The world is shifting, changing, and moving very fast these days, so it is uber-important to be aware of our energy and to stay as balanced, grounded, and calm as possible. Taking care of ourselves is also how we can better show up and be of authentic service in the world. Let’s become more conscious of how we seek love and approval from outside ourselves, and learn to redirect our focus toward self-love, self-care, self-respect, and self-acceptance.

This Full Moon was exact at 3:55 am ET on Saturday, August 9, but we felt it building for days — and we will feel it for a while. As the cosmic Water Bearer, Aquarius pours new knowledge, realizations, and wisdom from the universal mind (Aquarius) to the human heart (Leo). Deep realizations can happen in moments of beautiful connection as well as times of discomfort, pain, and darkness. We always need to check in with our own internal authority — what feels right in our body.

What can we do if there are things we don’t agree with happening in the world? How can we call for change? This Full Moon energizes Pluto, also in Aquarius, and fuels a rise of revolution on the planet in 2025 and 2026. “The more people are shown they are not allowed or encouraged to demand positive change, the stronger they will rise.” — Lee Harris Energy.

The American and French revolutions happened when Pluto last entered Aquarius. The spirit of awakening to personal sovereignty, freedom, equality, and social justice is growing stronger every day.

We need to allow ourselves to feel and express every emotion that comes up. Anger can be a healthy part of our energetic awakening and recalibration when we allow it to flow for a few seconds. “Rage is a symptom of an underlying aspect that is looking for healing. Sit with the rage and ask it what it is attempting to protect. What is it reacting to? From the space of authentic power, you can show up for yourself as your own loving parent, guide, and protector. Gather up that hurt part of yourself and give it all the love and attention it has been yearning for so very long. Reassure it that you will keep it safe now and integrate it into your own loving care.” — Archangel Gabriel through Shelley Young.

The energy is so topsy-turvy out there — and in our own world — as our personal energy field constantly interacts with the collective field. We live in symbiotic union with the world and cosmos. An equally important truth is that every individual impacts the collective energy. Perhaps the purpose of life is to be our true, authentic self — to be who we truly are — and to trust that this is our best contribution to the world. We are learning to become guardians of our own frequencies, choices, and beliefs.

The epic shifts of many planets entering new signs this year provide a massive opportunity to shed old skins and birth a new version of ourselves. Who were you in the past? Who are you now? Who are you becoming? What does your heart and soul desire to manifest organically, naturally, instinctively? Surrender into these new energies with complete faith and trust in the flow.

Aquarius is a fascinating archetype because it represents an infinite dance between the collective and the individual. It is about the evolution of humanity — in its highest expression, weaving networks of social groups and communities with equality and justice for all. Are we there yet? The answer is obvious, but this Full Moon in Aquarius is a bright and powerful reminder of the evolutionary impulse at the core of the raison d’être of Aquarius. We are getting there as more and more people choose freedom, authentic soul expression, and warm connection over competition and conformity. This Full Moon energizes Pluto’s deep shadow and powerful transformational magic through Aquarius for the next 20 years.

One of the important yet complex themes of Aquarius is emotional detachment. “Detachment is not that we own nothing; detachment means nothing owns us.” — Bhagavad Gita.

Can authenticity be our highest vibration? “Authenticity isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real—showing up without the mask, speaking your truth even when your voice shakes, and honouring your boundaries even when they’re uncomfortable. Authenticity invites real connection. Real peace. Real freedom. Because when you’re authentic, you’re not just loving others… you’re loving yourself, and the world can feel that.” — Paul Noiles

“Think of retrogrades as a rare opportunity to hit pause and take mental and emotional inventory on how those areas of life are going for you. And then contemplate what you can do to make needed or desired upgrades. Saturn will dip back into Pisces for five and a half months (Sept. 1 to Feb. 13, 2026). So this last leap from Pisces to Aries signifies major endings and a dazzling new beginning, and is an opportunity to really clean house and expunge outdated, irrelevant structures in our lives that don’t support this very new beginning.

This is a big deal because right alongside Saturn is Neptune — and Neptune, the planet of dissolution and surrender, will be crossing this critical threshold (0º of the first fire sign) with Saturn, planet of boundaries, discipline, and responsibility, at this pivotal time in human history… it can’t not be a game-changer. We all stand to benefit from calling a personal timeout and — if not exactly stepping out of the action — at least slowing it down to a manageable pace. Saturn will give us a chance to actually digest everything we’ve taken in for the past several months and begin to metabolize it. What are we okay with? What must change?

Like going on a vacation, or just a digital detox, we need time and distance to gain perspective, which lights the path toward clarity. We need to replenish our physical, mental, and emotional stores as well. Constantly working without breaks depletes our energy and leads to decreased performance and burnout. It’s important to rest, relax, reset, and recover our natural rhythm. Let’s embrace these slowdowns and make every effort to find the gold inside the pause.”

Imagine our Earth family and galactic family holding hands — interconnected community sitting or standing around a gigantic, magical, divine campfire celebration — strengthening the vibration of peace, love, unity, and compassion. Opening to love in all its forms: self-love, family love, romantic love, spiritual love.

New Moon in Leo – New Soul Fire

Big love and warm gratitude for connecting here! I cherish this lovely community for the connection, compassion, communication, and support we co-generate. Merci! The world is tender, complex, messy — but alive with potential. As systems shake, souls awaken. As truths are challenged, deeper ones emerge. And in this great turning, your voice, your light, and your presence are medicine.

We are in a threshold era. The outer planets — Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus freshly in Gemini, and Neptune rebirthing in Aries — are stirring a great unraveling and re-visioning of collective consciousness. This isn't just a moment of change — it's a change of eras. The values of authenticity, spiritual sovereignty, and community coherence are rising, even as old structures resist their own dissolving.

Let’s dive into the magic of this New Moon in Leo, exact on July 24 at 3:10 pm EDT. As the majestic King and Queen of the Zodiac, and ruled by the bright Sun, Leo ignites a new fire of sovereignty, dignity, self-love, joy, and creative expression in the sacred hearth of our hearts.

Though the New Moon is the darkest phase in the lunar cycle, energetically speaking, this New Moon in Leo births a bold new fire in our souls for the next four weeks. Take time and create sacred space to plant bold and beautiful intentions in any area of your life. Pay special attention to the themes and houses connected to 2° Leo in your chart, if you know it.

This entire lunar cycle holds a powerful resonance as it forms aspects with every outer planet. For the astro-savvy: the Sun and Moon form a near-perfect opposition to Pluto in Aquarius, a close trine with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and a tight sextile with Uranus in Gemini (see my last Star Notes for more on Uranus in Gemini).

Leo has a profound connection to the physical heart — and let’s remember, the electromagnetic field of the heart is many times stronger than that of the brain. The more we follow this joy, the more we amplify love and light on the planet.
This Leo New Moon cycle can re-energize our hearts with more joy and laughter. In his beautiful book Conversations with the Zs, Lee Harris and his guides say:

“Humour connects people to their heart and to laughter, and laughter is a powerful release. For many of you, laughter can be 5x more powerful than a release of crying. It takes you into higher dimensions; it takes you into bliss. Humour generates a very important alchemy: it is a wonderful stress relief and a beautiful ingredient in a delicious recipe of living life from the heart.”

Let’s explore the magic of fire. Fire purifies, transforms, and renews. “What is burning inside you that wants to come out and be unleashed?” There’s always a pilot light in the soul, waiting for the right awareness or person to help ignite it. When we interact with these new energies, we feel more alive — more in touch with our soul.

What about Mercury retrograde in Leo? More people are curious about Mercury retrograde, which is wonderful. Mercury retrogrades three times a year for about three weeks — and this one runs from July 18 to August 11, entirely in Leo. Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are also retrograde now, meaning that the collective pace slows. These are ideal moments to filter out noise, listen inwardly, and recalibrate. Since Mercury is in the same sign as the New Moon, we can amplify love, peace, courage, and creative confidence in our thoughts and conversations.

Let’s return to the powerful presence of Pluto, which sits opposite this New Moon. Pluto, lord of the underworld, is the guardian of deep soul power. “As humans, you have been trained to forget your true power, which is your soul. When you are connected to your soul, you are at one with spiritual energy.”

Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years will teach humanity about individual freedom and collective sovereignty. This dynamic between Leo and Aquarius invites us to harmonize our inner sovereign self with our soul tribes and communities.

Also in the sky: Chiron in Aries, closely aligned with Eris, goddess of justice and equality. This aspect may accelerate our healing and inspire us to explore new modalities or spiritual practices. It’s an opportunity to build a new fire of confidence and courage from within, grounded in our truth.

Meanwhile, Saturn and Neptune in early Aries are forming a slow, steady alignment, preparing for their historic conjunction in 2026. This long process brings practical support (Saturn) to our soul dreams (Neptune). We are laying foundations for the new world — the world our hearts know is possible.

2025 is a year of massive shifts, transitions, and flow. Many astrologers and wisdom keepers agree: we are in the early phase of a profound metamorphosis of consciousness. We are birthing the energetics of the new human soul on New Earth. Just as I was contemplating this energy, the sun burst out of the clouds with big beautiful rays of warm sunshine! For a few days, Luna will bathe us in the light of honor, quiet dignity, integrity, and discipline. Capricorn reminds us to hold sacred space for responsibility — not as a burden, but as a peaceful, stabilizing force. This is a time to embody grounded presence and mature grace.

The alchemy flowing through the water magic of Cancer with the earth magic of Capricorn reminds me of the Temperance Tarot card and the Yin-Yang symbol of balance, grace and harmony. Cancer in coherence with Capricorn reminds us to feel as soft as a summer meadow when we want and as tough as a mountain when it is required.
