It's that time of year again! The Aquilon Foot Clinic and St. Andrew's United Church are looking for donations for Socks for Souls! 🧦

Donations are being accepted until December 5th 2025 and can be dropped off at any Aquilon Foot Clinic location during business hours, or at St. Andrew's United Church on Sunday mornings.

Socks will be distributed the week of December 9th to the following: Lansdowne, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Anne Schools, Sudbury Secondary School Value Vault, Go Give Project, Elgin Street Mission, Genevra House and others in need in the Downtown Sudbury area.

World Diabetes Day Today, CFPM is proud to join the global community in promoting awareness about diabetes and its impact on health, particularly foot health. Diabetes can lead to reduced circulation and sensation, increasing the risk of ulcers and infections. However, most serious complications can be prevented by performing daily foot checks, maintaining controlled blood sugar levels, choosing proper footwear, and scheduling regular podiatric visits. Let us raise awareness, support early detection, and empower individuals living with diabetes to take confident, healthy steps forward. 💙

The Aquilon family is growing! We’re thrilled to share the joyful news that one of our Chiropodists, Chantal, has welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Rowan, into the world. 💙

Both mom and baby are healthy and doing great! Our hearts are full as we celebrate the tiny feet that will leave the biggest footprints on Chantal’s heart.

If you have diabetes, remember that not all socks are created equal. Try to choose socks that: Are white or light-colored to make it easy to spot any bleeding or drainage, for example, if you have a cut or an ingrown toenail. Ensure they fit well and aren't too tight.
