Here’s a recap from our last Walk With a Doc !

This month, we talked all about setting SMART goals 🎯 and how it’s never too late to set new goals. The key isn’t waiting for the “perfect time” (like New Year’s)… it’s about setting the right kind of goals using the SMART framework (see poster for more info).

📅 Our next walk will be May 31st at 9AM
Stay tuned for details about our next speaker 👀

We’re hoping to reconnect and resume our walks soon and can’t wait to see you all then!

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay active in whatever way feels good for you — whether that’s a short walk, stretching at home, or getting some fresh air as the weather warms up.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We appreciate our WWAD community so much and look forward to walking together soon.

For those who missed our last walk — or just need a quick refresher — here’s the poster recap from our walk with Dr. Hirji!

Also, an IMPORTANT REMINDER as winter approaches: staying active is just as important (if not more!) this time of year.
❄️🚶‍♂️❄️

Any type of movement counts. If it’s too cold or icy to walk outside, try walking indoors on a treadmill or even just in circles around the house. Aim for 5,000–7,000 steps a day.

The impact of regular movement on your health can’t be emphasized enough. You should always make it a priority!

We hope to see you at our next Walk with a Doc! ❤️

In the meantime, keep on walking!!!
