Just because a crop is fed… doesn’t mean it’s safe. 🌱

High salt fertility programs can pull moisture away from the seed right when it needs it most.

That can mean slower emergence, stressed seedlings, or, in some cases, lost plants before they even get started.

Every seed is an investment, and protecting it starts below the surface.

The right products, rates, and placement can make a big difference in seed safety and early crop health.

You know your seed. 🌱 But do you know the soil temperature you’re planting into?

Soil conditions can change fast from field to field, and every crop responds differently to temperature. A few degrees can impact emergence, early growth, and overall crop performance.

That’s why our team has been out across the region checking soil temperatures the past few days, helping growers make informed seeding decisions this spring. 🩺

If you want to know what’s happening below the surface, we’re here to help.

A cold start doesn’t have to mean a slow start. 🌱

Cold soils, excess moisture, frost, and wind can quietly cap yield potential before the crop even gets going.

The challenge?
Young seedlings still need phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and manganese immediately… not weeks later.

When nutrients aren’t available in the first 10–14 days:
✔️ Emergence becomes uneven
✔️ Early vigor slows down
✔️ Crops spend the season trying to catch up

Then add a herbicide application onto an already stressed plant, and even more energy gets diverted away from growth.

Precision Starter places critical nutrition directly on the seed, helping plants access nutrients before roots can pull from cold ground.

A stronger start sets the tone for the entire season.
