Our body posture impacts our emotional and psychological state. The "superhero pose" has been shown in psychological studies to change the brain's chemistry resulting in increased confidence and decreased anxiety by altering the body's hormone production. It increases testosterone, which is responsible for elevating self-esteem and boosting your confidence. And it lowers cortisol, the body's stress hormone, thereby reducing anxiety.

Not everyone is going to like us, and that is a hard lesson most of us have to learn. But much easier if it is taught when we are young.

Often we sacrifice who we are at the expense of pleasing others. This toxic cycle we get into can etch away at our integrity over time and we lose sight of who we really are.
