What drives you? For me, it’s this 👆I strive to improve my relationship with her because she teaches me to breath, to keep centered, focused and willing. Each ride I must consider her and adapt.

Our nervous system is adaptable- if we are willing to listen - it’s sounds like anxiety, lack of attention, choosing distractions…

Cold plunging, weight lifting, fasting … these are un-fun things but teach us— WE CAN!

Our body will ALWAYS ADAPT!! This can be a negative adaption to sitting all day or to exercising to a professional level —

REMEMBER tho it will need an apology or a commitment of support!

For example- Liver detox 2x a year. (Not milk thistle (insert eye roll)

Creatine at 20 grams/day post brain injury or stressful event (death in the family)

Lower back (miltifidi muscle) training for sitting ALL DAY (more than 30 mins)

Foot strengthening for wearing shoes

Lemon water in the morning after a stressful day— FYI that’s almost every day over the age of 30.

Quick reminder to breath through your nose to tell your brain you are safe and not running away from a Lion! Or you bank account or the mile long list of things to do or lack of activity- yes not moving your body is actually a stress— sitting is the new smoking!

Balancing the electrical system. There are many different ways to talk to your brain- I have some favourites- ask me and I’ll talk about it- however to stay focused… the tone of your muscles will show you your stress.

How amazing is that!? You don’t have to wonder- you have solutions immediately available to make a change in your brain!!! Fantastic.

Remember- if you don’t use it you lose it from my last post? Well being grateful is the same.

Practice telling your friends, your family, your dogs, horse, cats, birds, snakes… whatever. Why they matter to you. Imagine your life would end tomorrow- what you want them to know?

I love and am grateful for all of my patients, now in the past and in the future. Doctor means teacher and I am so thankful to have willing participants learning how to be their BEST! Thank you!!!
