Hand Print Kids has helped launch a NEW toy lending library in partnership with the Loft Children’s Library at the Salvation Army Church located at 1320 Gordon Street in Guelph. The Loft Children’s Toy Lending Library offers free toy lending for kids. Play and learning are a child's main occupations. I have analyzed all toys based on potential therapeutic benefits.
The Loft Library hopes to collaborate with therapists in Guelph to help support families who need toys to promote their child’s development (i.e., literacy, gross motor, fine motor skills, handwriting, visual motor skills, visual perception, math, problem solving, and attention). If you are a therapist and want to learn more about this new library or collaborate with toy analysis, feel free to contact me.
Hours are currently Thursdays (1-4pm) and Sundays (9:30-11:00am). For more information, please contact the Salvation Army Church (519-836-9360 or office@guelphsa.ca).
Hand Print Kids helps kids develop handwriting skills. As a CBS Survivor SUPERFAN who loves to learn through movement and fun challenges, I incorporate direct instruction, playful activities and games to practice to help kids learn to write. I offer in-person occupational therapy for school-aged kids in the South End of Guelph. If you are interested in learning more about OT services at Hand Print Kids, please feel free to contact me (carol@handprintkids.com).
