What's coming 2024:
Starting soon we will be setting up our main website Peng Lai North America which will serve as a hub for our global branches.
As a Neidan and Daoist Qigong research organization we are more than a school and view ourselves as a factual resource for all people wishing to study and learn about these arts.
As such our 2024 project will include:
- developing a core curriculum of Daoist theoretical knowledge based on key scriptures that we have identified as essential.
- publishing a manual including the core curriculum with translations of the main scriptures and practical explanations of their theory and application in Neidan.
- starting a database of Neidan and other Daoist Meditation and Qigong texts and recorded classes separated into their respective traditions (ie: Southern School, Northern School, Middle School, Yang Sheng etc...),
- integrating already existing resources such as the Immortality Study Newsletter into our public presentation,
- working with Penglai members internationally to develop schools in multiple countries which focus on our core curriculum as well as the individual strengths and knowledge our members had before joining us (this means that curricula will accord with a basic standard but may vary slightly in different countries as a result of the wealth and diversity of our members' knowledge).
I'll be rolling out the beta version of Penglai North America soon along with a list of texts in our basic curriculum. Expect the first textbook to come out around June and the database to have texts and courses by March.
