Stitch a little love for Guelph’s newest residents! We’re inviting you to knit or crochet newborn items, such as infant hats or mittens, that will be included in the Library’s Born to Read early literacy bags. These handmade items get distributed to newborns across the city along with literacy resources to help inspire a love of reading from day one.
Don’t have knitting supplies on hand? No problem! Our knitting and crochet kits are available to check out from the Library, or you can click one of the links below to place a hold for pickup:
