We launched our new strategic plan — an ambitious approach to the next five years of caring for our communities and planning for the health care opportunities and challenges of the future. Our new mission, Unstoppable Compassion, is grounded in the foundation established by the Sisters of St. Joseph—compassionate, innovative care delivered to those who need it, unconditionally.

With this plan, we will relentlessly pursue innovative solutions, academic excellence and research to help our teams and communities. We will improve access to high-quality care and the experiences of those we are serving. We will weave innovation, equity, diversity, inclusion and Indigenous Reconciliation into our priorities. And we will deliver, grow and strengthen the partnerships, facilities, programs and people who deliver compassionate care every day.

Yesterday we were honoured to welcome members of the W.C. Wood Foundation to St. Joseph's Health Centre and Foundation Guelph to announce their remarkable $500,000 leadership gift to St. Joe’s Building Better Healthcare Campaign.👏💙

This extraordinary contribution brings their total support for the Campaign to more than $750,000, continuing a long family tradition of caring for others and strengthening our community.

During the announcement, Susan Frasson, W.C. Wood Foundation representative and Honorary Building Better Healthcare Campaign Chair, reflected on her family’s multigenerational philanthropy and their hope to inspire others to give. “Healthcare affects every single one of us. We are incredibly fortunate to have an institution of this calibre right here in Guelph, and we hope our gift encourages our generous community to come together to strengthen St. Joe’s today and well into the future.”

Last week, we were thrilled to cheer on the 19th annual Tractor Tug for Tots at the University of Guelph and St. Joe's is honoured to be the beneficiary of the teams’ incredible fundraising efforts! A big thank you to everyone who pulled, cheered or donated in support of the event. 🚜💙

Funds raised will help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder build the skills they need to thrive, while empowering their caregivers to be their children’s strongest teachers and advocates through the Ontario Autism Program Caregiver-Mediated Early Years Program.
