University of Guelph's First Response Team.
519-840-5000 if you need emergency medical help. Help is seldom more than a few minutes away.

The University of Guelph First Response Team is a student-run, non profit team of volunteers. We provide on-call and special event coverage to the University of Guelph community and its visitors in the form of emergency first-aid services. During the Fall and Winter semesters, we provide service to the campus every week night from 6 PM to 8 AM, and 24 hours a day on weekends. We operate under the directive of the Campus Safety Office and Fire Prevention. In the event of any on campus medical emergency, call 519-840-5000 or 519-824-4210 ext. 2000

These are pictures from our returner training which happens at the beginning of each semester so that the team can sharpen their skills.

Meet our 2025-2026 Training Coordinators Ella and Tavish!!!

Ella and Tavish are looking forward to meeting and working with this year's rookies, and introducing new training initiatives to the team!

This will be Ella's third year on the team and Tavish's second. Ella and Tavish both major in Biomedical Science. Ella is from Grand Valley and Tavish is from Barrie.

Bryce is from Toronto, ON and is looking forward to meeting the new Rookies!

Colin is a Guelphite, born and raised. He is so excited for what's to come!

FRT is hosting our first SFA course of the year on Saturday September 6th! This course is such an amazing opportunity to gain lifesaving skills and learn something new.

The registration queue is now open which means that you'll be the first to be notified when registration opens. We highly recommend signing up for the queue as spots go fast!
