University of Guelph's First Response Team.
519-840-5000 if you need emergency medical help. Help is seldom more than a few minutes away.

The University of Guelph First Response Team is a student-run, non profit team of volunteers. We provide on-call and special event coverage to the University of Guelph community and its visitors in the form of emergency first-aid services. During the Fall and Winter semesters, we provide service to the campus every week night from 6 PM to 8 AM, and 24 hours a day on weekends. We operate under the

directive of the Campus Safety Office and Fire Prevention. In the event of any on campus medical emergency, call 519-840-5000 or 519-824-4210 ext. 2000

FRT had an amazing time at NCCER! We heard from countless speakers about mental health, responding to different populations and the evolution of first aid. We got to network with other school teams and are so excited to bring everything we learned back to Guelph!

Thank you to the University of Laurier for hosting and to all the people that worked so hard to make this event successful.

Meet our 2025-2026 Training Coordinators Ella and Tavish!!!

Ella and Tavish are looking forward to meeting and working with this year's rookies, and introducing new training initiatives to the team!

This will be Ella's third year on the team and Tavish's second. Ella and Tavish both major in Biomedical Science. Ella is from Grand Valley and Tavish is from Barrie.

Bryce is from Toronto, ON and is looking forward to meeting the new Rookies!

Colin is a Guelphite, born and raised. He is so excited for what's to come!
