It is with sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Burkholder, one of the founding visionaries and original directors of the Chiropractic Awareness Council, now known as the Alliance For Chiropractic.

Dr. Burkholder was deeply dedicated to the chiropractic profession and unwaveringly passionate about the chiropractic principle. His commitment to advancing chiropractic went far beyond his own practice — he was especially eager to support, mentor, and encourage younger doctors, always taking the time to share his knowledge, perspective, and belief in the power of chiropractic.

His leadership, vision, and service helped lay the foundation for AFC and continues to influence our mission today. We are profoundly grateful for his contributions and the legacy he leaves behind.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives and practices were shaped by his guidance and care.
