On May 9th, we’ll return to the lovely Cutten Fields for an inspiring afternoon in support of grieving children, youth, and families in our community.

The countdown is on, and we can’t wait to come together to bring hope to grieving hearts. Here’s what’s in store:

Spring 2026 grief support groups for children and parents/caregivers begin March 23 & stay tuned for Grief Unfiltered (for teens ages 12-18) and Grief In Common (for young adults ages 18-30) beginning in May. 🌸

Whether you're looking for resources and support for your family or want to learn more about grief, The Nightingale Centre is here to help. If you or someone you know would benefit from any of the programs being offered, we hope you will register or reach out to get more information. Registration is required and there is no cost for families to attend our programs.

We're incredibly grateful for and their generous donation of $10,000 to The Nightingale Centre at their quarterly meeting last week. Today we honour Nicholas Lambden's Angel Day. 🪽
Nick's sister, Madison, and mom, Susan, co-founded The Nightingale Centre in 2019 in his memory. On this day 19 years ago, Nicholas lost his life in a tragic accident at the age of 10 after he was hit in the head with a puck while playing hockey at an outdoor skating rink.

Within the Lambden family's first few years of their grief, Madison & Susan came to realize the lack of support available for grieving children, youth and families in our community.

Nick’s life, death, and legacy has been a driving force in the establishment of The Nightingale Centre, and the story of this family still fuels the mission and vision of our Centre today.✨
