Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

A day to focus on efforts supporting and promoting the stories shared and passed down to us. Stories told by those who lived them and are around today to courageously tell them. Stories that were passed down from those before, but not long ago.

We are grateful to have spent a day in Mohawk Park with some members from the Six Nations.

Stories told through culinary classics and divine desserts. This Pursuit of Passions celebration gave our residents opportunities to tell their stories through family recipes that span anywhere between several decades to several years.

Huge thank you to Sylvia Brewitt, Marilyn Wax, Pauline Jenkins and her daughter Lesley for putting together these home made goods for the village to enjoy! 🍪🥮🧁🍰
