Yesterday, we had a special visitor for Take Your Kid to Work Day!

This annual event gives grade 9 students across Canada the chance to step into the working world, explore different careers, and experience a day in the life of a parent, guardian, or mentor. It’s a fun and meaningful way to spark curiosity and help young people imagine their future paths.

We were thrilled to welcome a student to Guelph Independent Living — they got a behind-the-scenes look at how our team supports adults with disabilities and seniors in the community.
