No one likes peeing themselves. And yet it happens so often! People usually put a pad on, and do more kegels.

This is where I want to stop you: kegels are great but let’s look at the whole picture. If you want a healthy, functioning pelvic floor you need

- stretching
- strength (different kinds of kegels)
- strength (whole body exercises)

A lot of people start running/ lifting right after the 6 week clear because

1) they aren’t sure what to do or where to start
2) they were cleared for exercise so it should be fine right? Right??
2) they miss the feeling of being strong and active and want to get back to that identify ASAP

What you need is a plan that honours your pp body and lets you crunch those goals: safely! A plan that lets you enjoy the process because you understand where you’re going.

My Story

Hey everyone! I’m Steph Bouwman and I own and operate Food and Fitness Connection. Here are a few fun facts about me


  • I moved to Guelph in 2012

  • I have three kids, and their current ages are 2,4,6. Our house is busy and crazy and you may get cherrios stuck to the bottoms of your feet if you visit

  • my favourite colour is yellow
