Hello Again Beauties! 👋

As we roll into my last full month of doing facial services, I want to clarify some things for you all so we are all on the same page.

This has been a very difficult time for me as I close the physical part of my business in order to heal my very broken body after doing treatments for almost 20 years. 😭

📌 I am fully booked in April + will not be accepting any new bookings after that. (Exception is GC holders)

📌 This also means, if you have to cancel your scheduled appointment, I will not be re-booking you. I simply can’t.

📌 If you have a GC, you have until end of June to use it for Treatments. After June, you can use your GC for product purchase.

📌Please understand, the treatments have to have a deadline because I am in immense pain + have to stop in order to heal. The pain I am in is the whole reason I am retiring from doing Facial Services. It hurts in many ways but has to happen. 💔

📌 I will still continue to make + retail my product line. I will be working on tweaking, improving + adding to the line-up, which is exciting for this witchy woman. 🧙‍♀️

📌 If I haven’t reached out to cancel your appointment, it’s because I am able to see you. I WANT to see you all for your last treatments with me in the sacred space, as much as my body will allow. 🥹

♥️ To all of you who have graciously let me know I can cancel your appointments, or that you will use your GCs for product, I appreciate you so much more than you will ever know! This supportive community of Green Beauties has been the greatest blessing I could ever dream of creating! I love you all so much + appreciate your patience + compassion as I navigate these next steps, letting go of a huge part of who I am, creating space for what’s to come, and above all else, allowing myself to heal. 🙏

Hello Again, My Beauties! 🌿💚

As a follow up to my last post re: taking time away from the treatment room to heal my body, it’s super important to me that I be transparent, clear + honest about how things are + how they will look.

As I take care of myself, it’s so, so, so important to me that YOU ALL feel taken care of as well. I can’t not. ♥️

The Facts:

- bookings are closed until further notice..maybe for a little while, maybe forever, but I am listening to my body and she’s screaming 🛑.

-unless I am having a really bad pain day, your existing appointments stand firm, even those booked beyond the break date of May 1st.

- I will honour GC appointments, booking into May now, so please reach out to me if you have a Gift Card so I can book you in.

- my products will still be available for purchase from me, .salonspa + .spa and possibly a new space coming soon! Stay tuned!
*custom blended serums must be ordered + picked up through me.

As I navigate the “letting go” part, I am allowing myself to grieve the beautiful gift I have been able to provide for you all. It’s been tough. It’s been sad. It’s been all the things that letting go of something you love brings up.

It’s been real, y’all. 😭

But the MOST BEAUTIFUL part of it has been the support from all of you! Reaching out to offer cancelled services, words of encouragement, advice, kindness + sooooo much love.

You’ve put me first + have reminded me that as a caregiver, I need to put myself first now. That it’s okay to do so. And to take the guilt I feel for letting you down + LET. IT. GO.

To be blessed with such an amazing community is what will heal me in the end. I may not know how this will all roll out, how long it will take, what will unfold along this healing journey, but what I do know with my whole heart is that this business comes from love, has evolved from love + will unfold as it will because of love. 💕

Hey Green Beauties! 💚

I chose this photo because it makes me happy. A sunset on my favourite beach in Costa Rica, where time stands still + where I feel my most healthy + alive. 🌅

This post, however, makes me feel a different sort of way. A not so awesome kinda way. A sad + disappointed way. 😞

I have a handful of spaces for facials left in April and I will not be taking bookings beyond that point for a little while.

My tailbone + low back injuries are still with me after over a year of treatment + care, and while I am doing everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) to find healing, it is not as easy to do while still practicing at the capacity that I am currently. My body needs space + time + care to heal. And I am being forced, rather reluctantly, to give it what it needs because it’s the only real home I have in this life and I want her to be healthy, mobile + pain-free. 🥹

As you all know, I love my work! It’s a part of me that is tough to separate. It’s my calling, my purpose, and what gets me out of bed everyday. YOU ALL are what gets me out of bed everyday! 💞

I not cancelling any appointments at this point. Feb is shorter, I have 2 weeks vacation in March + April is a lighter month. I’ve blocked myself off from May onwards until I can gain some traction with all the therapies I am doing to heal my poor body. I don’t want to but I have to or else I will end up in way worse shape than I am now + that’s no good to anybody. 🥲

I appreciate your patience + understanding. I love you all so much + will accept all healing vibes you can send my way so I will be able to continue doing what I love…caring for you + your sweet selves. 🙏♥️

The Privilege of Slow Mornings. ☕️

This conversation has come up so often recently, that I felt compelled to write about it.

“You’re so lucky to work from home”
“Must be nice that every weekend is long”
“Taking as much vacation you want is a privilege” etc, etc, etc….

Well, I can say “YOU BET ” to all of this but there’s a big BUT that is important to share too.

First of all, LUCK has nothing to do with it. I’ve worked evenings + weekends my entire life, sacrificing lots of things, and I’ve worked damn hard to CREATE a life that feels like ease, peace + alignment, at 53 years old. Finally.

I was broke.
I was broken.
At times I was very lost.

But I always had a vision for the life I wanted + deserved to live.

And I am a DREAMER.

Each + every choice I have made has lead me to the present, with lots of f**k ups along the way.

I created a career I love that helps people + gives me freedom. That road was long + winding but we’re here.

A partnership that feels safe, supportive + so much fun, with someone who is as big a dreamer + visionary as I am. Also not an easy road.

Freedom to have coffee in bed + slow mornings together most days. Awesome, but wasn’t always the case.

Taking risks to create a future of freedom + abundance was scary. IS scary. But it’s paid off. And I’m so proud of us for doing things differently for OUR life. OUR WAY.

But here’s the thing.

It’s all choices.

Choices + action steps in the direction of our dreams.

The ability to f**k up + fall down and course correct + keep going.

Surrounding ourselves with high vibe dreamers who inspire me to ask for more. To go for more + to not feel guilty for getting it!

My life was hot mess at one point + I’ve worked hard to make it what it is today. It wasn’t easy + none of it came to me on a silver platter. But it came. One dream at a time. One action step at a time. One risk, one fail, one “maybe this WILL work” at a time.

Living the dream? Hell yah!

But luck had nothing to do with it. 😘

PS. You also, can create the life of your dreams. It’s never too late to make changes.

Just to Be Clear…..

It seems that my last post caused some confusion in some of you as to what my plan + my intentions are so here’s the deal;

✔️ I am still working doing both services + making products. I am only doing services Tuesday, Weds + Thursday for the time being.

✔️ I am still taking bookings, but you MUST BOOK THROUGH ME ONLY NOW. My online booking system is disable until further notice.

✔️ I do not have to cancel your existing appointment at this point in the game. If you are booked on a Friday right now , your appointment stays.

✔️ I am doing everything in my power to heal so I can work to full capacity again. (4days/week)

Important News!

Hey Green Beauties! I hope the long, warm days of Summer are treating you well, and most of all, I hope YOU are treating You well!

You may have noticed that my Online Booking System is temporarily disabled. If you didn’t, now you know!

So here’s the thing;

I have been dealing with some very chronic tailbone pain since December, and when I say dealing with it, I mean doing EVERYTHING in my power to figure out what it is + doing everything to heal it.

And when I say EVERYTHING, I mean it.

It’s a layered root cause, stemming from a knee injury + foot injury which has had my body working to compensate and most of all, from almost 20years of working on a stool with my knees hyper-extended doing the work I love. And don’t even get me started on the Root + Sacral Chakra wounds. ✨

It’s taken a toll on my hips, pelvis + the connective tissues attached to my tailbone.

I’m working on it, but it’s a slow process. I’m not ready to not be able to do this work anymore so I have devoted myself to healing. For me + for you.

As you know I typically am booked out to 3 months, which makes my heart burst but it also takes away space for me to heal. By only booking you in myself, that gives me control of how many of you I see in a day/week, so I can alleviate pressure on my poor body.

So from now until I am better, I will still be practicing but my spaces will be reduced slightly.

Please be patient with me while I heal this thing so I can get back to working at full capacity, holding space + providing care for you all. It kills me that it’s now even tougher to get in to see me for my care but it’s what i have to do now so i can keep going as long as i can. 🥲

Right now, I need to care for Me.
