New Logo!

I believe that choosing a name is very important as it’s the representation of who you are.

eg. my name Melissa means honey bee 🐝 , it’s also the name of a Nymph who nursed baby Zeus ⚡️with honey 🍯

To my mother, it represents the child who brought sweetness to the world. She also has a Chinese nickname that is translated to seeet candy.

So, choosing the name was intentionally curated for purpose and a bit of humour.

The name Nuwa, comes from 2 sources:
1️⃣ Chinese Goddess of nature, order, fertility and marriage. She is also accredited with creating humanity and repairing the pillar of heaven. Pretty powerful stuff. I feel community comes through strong here. 🤗
2️⃣Comic book character who’s ability to tranquillize her victims and put them in a sedative slumber - this made me laugh as much of my early years as an RMT would have my clients so relaxed, they would often fall asleep. 😅😂

My goal here is to create community through connection to self, nature and others. To share wisdom, empowerment and of course laughter. I love to share what I have been learning (which is vast and wellness related).

Thank you to all those who have been following me on my journey thus far and I hope to continue to inspire, educate and bring a little sweetness to your life.
