All of the benefits of joining a gym, in an email......
I got this email from a new friend in our Fitness Forever program (our small group older adult sessions) and I had to share.
First of all, my message back to this woman was full of praise. She could have quit on exercise and not given Evolve a chance. Instead, she dove in and embraced all we have to offer.
But this is why we are unlike many gyms.
-you get the opportunity (non clients welcome too) for a Health & Fitness assessment at Evolve Integrated Health with an expert health practitioner. This gives you a baseline view of all things health and longevity.
-you get coaches that are there to guide you during your workouts and help you ensure the workout is to your level with modifications as needed.
-you get a community of other members to keep you accountable
-you get me sending you resources and checking in and answering all of your questions to help get better results
-you get to get the kind of results that make for a longer, healthier and happier life.
Here is the email :)

Hi Matt,
Thank you for checking in—I really appreciate it!
I want to share how happy I am with Scott and the Fitness Forever program. I was quite nervous starting due to a back injury. I feared the program might be too easy given the demographic, and that I wouldn’t build the strength necessary to support my recovery. I was also concerned about potentially aggravating my injury, especially since my pain was quite intense when I joined.
I couldn’t have been more wrong about the classes being too easy! Scott has been fantastic at modifying workouts to prevent further injury while focusing on building my core strength and stability.
When I met Haley for my assessment, I felt a mix of curiosity and nerves. However, she explained the process clearly and was incredibly welcoming and encouraging. Given my pain and the challenges with my body, I truly appreciated her kindness. I’m looking forward to my follow-up assessment with her!
I’m also working with Grace on my diet, particularly on increasing my protein intake.
Now, two weeks into the program, I’m feeling hopeful for a lighter, pain-free life! I really value your emails and all the tips. I’m gradually incorporating more movement into my days as the pain decreases.
I have both an Apple Watch and a Fitbit, but I’m not very experienced with either. If you have any suggestions for tracking my progress using them, I’d love to hear your advice!
Thanks again for your support!
