Good afternoon everyone! 😊☀️This account has been gaining some new followers so I think it’s about time I reintroduce myself! 🌸🫶🏻

My name is Em MacPhail and I’m a Registered Acupuncturist working in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I began my journey in 2017 by taking the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma program at The Canadian Collage of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. On day one of classes we learned from a TCM perspective how much our mental health can affect our physical bodies and I knew right then that this truly was the career for me. Since graduating the three year program I now treat a wide range of conditions from Mental health concerns, to body pain, PMS, irregular or painful periods, digestive issues, sciatica, migraines, insomnia, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and so many more!

Seeing clients feel better week to week is a huge motivator for me to keep learning and growing as a practitioner. I love being able to lend a listening ear and having tools to help where I can.

When I’m not in a treatment room with a client, I’m either having a cup of tea on my front step, or wandering around in the woods looking for a waterfall. I love all of the beautiful sites Nova Scotia has to offer!

BIG NEWS! 🎉🥰

I am SO excited to announce that starting March 31st I will be adding an additional location for my Acupuncture services at Symmetry Wellness in Dartmouth! 🎉🫶🏻

I will be working at Symmetry on Mondays from 10:00am - 3:00pm, and Tuesdays from 2:00pm - 8:00pm! 🎉✨

This is a really big deal for me and I want to truly thank everyone who has supported me along the way. I am so grateful that I am in the line of work where I can help others every single day! 🥰

Goood afternoon everyone ☀️,

Did you know that when you book in for a Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture appointment you will ALWAYS receive your choice of Facial cupping, Facial Guasha or Facial Tuina massage after all of your facial needles are removed to further benefit you during your appointment! 🥰🫶🏻✨

My personal favourite is cupping, I find it very helpful if my jaw is feeling tight! 👏

Winter is a difficult time for a lot of us, the cold brisk air can make the outside world feel uninviting for some. Winter in TCM is a time to slow down, to rest and reflect. Enjoying some warming soups along with regular Acupuncture appointments are great ways to keep yourself nourished and your Qi flowing smoothly.❄️

✨Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture✨ Let’s talk about it.

Lots of people think that this treatment is strictly cosmetic but its really not.

Ever wonder why at certain times during your cycle you get breakouts? Or why no matter what you do your face is always red? What about why you seem to wrinkle a little more on your forehead versus anywhere else in your face?

ALL of these can be explained by TCM! The answer will vary person to person but there is something that can be done about these concerns with Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.

With this type of treatment we want to look at the ROOT of the issue! Treating the root is what we do best in TCM. Treating the entire body is very important because the health of the WHOLE body is reflected on the face.

Consistency is key with these types of treatments. We offer discounts for committing to either 5 or 10 consecutive appointments! (Committing to book 5 consecutive appointments you save 10% per appointment, and committing to book 10 consecutive appointments you save 15% per appointment!!) ✨
