✨The Clubs ➡️➡️ Week 2
🎭 Drama Club
In Drama, our focus was on voice—the actor’s most powerful tool. Actors explored projection, articulation, and resonance through games that encouraged them to feel strength in their bodies and release big, clear voices. We also practiced showing high-intensity emotions without screaming (a huge lesson —trust me 😅 in learning self-control and expression!).
✨ Why it matters: Voice work helps children build confidence in speaking, improves clarity and presence, and teaches them to channel emotions effectively while maintaining control. These skills support both performance and everyday communication.
🎨 Art Club
In Art Club we learned about still life through the work of Paul Cezanne. We touched on shape and form, as well as shading and perspectives. And, of course, the apples made a tasty snack once the artwork was complete!
✨ Why it matters: Exploring Cézanne’s approach to still life encourages children to see beauty in ordinary objects, strengthens focus and patience, and lets them experiment with pastels as a medium—blending observation with creativity (and a little fun at the end).
