As we travel forward on our journey through Life, it can be helpful to learn from others who are well on their way. Teachers and Allies can provide us with meaningful guidance and direction while we discover our POWERS, talents, and hone our skills. Those who provide us with a sense of EMPOWERMENT and inspire deeper self discovery are a true BLESSING while we are on the pathway Home. Empathy and humility are just a couple of qualities you will find in a teacher who has your best interest at Heart. Receiving help from someone who is experienced in any framework or method can truly be a profound and indispensable milestone in our Life journey.
But, it is important to be aware that there are also those who would lead us astray from our own power.
These gatekeepers prey upon spiritual seekers in an unconscious attempt to gain something from us; be it wealth, fame or just an amplified experience of EGO. And some are seriously masterful in their manipulation tactics. These charlatanistic “healers” and “gurus” subtly use language to frame themselves in a way that appears to be SUPERIOR or “more advanced” than others. Some might keep you under their spell by telling you, in no uncertain terms, that you are a target for dark or negative energy only they can tend to; or they might inspire within you a sense that you are “wrong” or that you’re not following the path in the “right way”. This all happens through subtle manipulation and I most often notice it through the use of language. Some of these imposters are like strong SORCERERS who can manipulate their own energy field to trick you on a level of feeling as well. Unfortunately for their egos, these people are also on their way to TRUE CONNECTION with Spirit. They are also moving along and progressing forward on their path. These people are often deeply WOUNDED and acting out patterns from the past; whether they be patterns from this lifetime, Ancestral, or BEYOND. It is important to remember their HUMANITY and to offer Love to them in ways that will keep you safe from PSYCHIC VAMPIRISM.
“Hurt people, hurt people.”
This post is not an attempt to vilify anyone but I hope it serves as a reminder that Life isn’t all “sunshine and rainbows” (although we are blessed to be able to experience those things), and we should use DISCERNMENT when it comes to those we choose offer our energy to.
There are ways of seeing through the ILLUSIONS cast upon us. Each person will have their own unique skills in doing that. For some, it comes on a level of feeling or EMPATHY, for others it might be a more structured deduction of facts. We must discover for ourselves the ways we can DISPEL ILLUSION as individuals. You are probably already doing it in many ways. Invite some mindfulness into your experience the next time you CALL BU****IT on something or someone and notice the feelings you experience at that moment. Give some attention to your intuition and watch it grow!
A helpful way to discover and strengthen our intuitive faculties is to engage in any practice that takes attention away from our thinking mind. JOURNEYING is the method I most often use to do this. In addition to the reduction in mental noise, Journeying provides an ample opportunity for one to discover and harness their POWER and directly communicate with Higher Self, Spirit Guides, and Divine Allies.
Never forget that you are a powerful being. If you’ve incarnated here, you can learn to use your talents and innate skills in meaningful, helpful ways for everyone in the world around you and also for yourself!
Cast away any doubtful narratives, activate courage, and trust that YOU ARE a connection to SPIRIT. There is no need for anyone else to open the gate for you. Look within and discover that your ability to CROSS THE THRESHOLD is One with who you are!
