The residents of Abington have been enjoying a wonderful variety of homemade delicacies prepared by our talented culinary team! 👩‍🍳✨

From crispy breaded chicken drumsticks and fragrant rosemary loaves to hearty Western sandwiches, refreshing pickle bites, and our ever-popular blueberry coffee cake, every dish has added its own touch of warmth, comfort, and joy to our dining room.

We deeply appreciate our culinary team, who pour care into every dish and consistently uplift our residents with wonderful meals and genuine kindness.

Cognitive Fun in Memory Care at Abington Court!
Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time participating in a “Memorize the Image” challenge today! 🎉

These cognitive games aren’t just fun; they’re incredibly beneficial for our residents:

✔️ Encourages social interaction and teamwork
✔️ Supports memory retention in a playful, low-pressure way

A Beautiful Day of Pampering at Abington Court!
Today was all about self-care and a little extra sparkle. Our lovely ladies at Abington Court were treated to a special day of pampering, complete with beautiful makeup, fresh nail color, and plenty of smiles.

From soft blushes to bright nail shades, each lady enjoyed choosing her own look and being cared for with love and attention. It was heartwarming to see how a little pampering brought so much happiness, confidence, and laughter to the room.

A huge thank-you to our team, who helped make this day memorable. Here’s to more days filled with beauty, kindness, and connection! 🌷

❄️ Winter Craft Magic at Abington Court! ❄️
Residents poured their creativity into building cheerful little snowmen, each one with its own personality. From picking out the perfect buttons to arranging adorable stick arms and expressive faces, everyone got to showcase their artistic side.

What made the afternoon even more special was the gentle conversations and the sense of togetherness that filled the room. These meaningful moments of joy and engagement are what make our community feel like home.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team for guiding the activity and making sure every resident felt included and proud of their creation. We are so grateful for the warmth and connection shared here every day!

🌟 VON Fitness Fun at Abington Court! 🌟
Our residents had an energizing and joy-filled day participating in the VON Fitness Program! From stretching with resistance bands to moving together in a supportive circle, everyone gave it their best, and the smiles say it all.

We were especially excited to welcome a few first-time participants, and we’re thrilled that they’ll be joining us again next week.

It’s wonderful to see such great participation and enthusiasm. Staying active, connecting with friends, and having fun, that’s what wellness at Abington Court is all about!

At Abington Court, our residents came together with creativity, care, and a heart full of remembrance.

In honour of Remembrance Day, they crafted beautiful red poppies, each one a symbol of love, sacrifice, and gratitude for the brave men and women who served our country.

Through teamwork and heartfelt reflection, the residents created a touching display to remind us all:

“We will remember them.”

Residents gathered for a friendly bean bag toss competition, showing great skills and enthusiasm. The room was full of smiles and encouragement as everyone enjoyed the lighthearted challenge and each other’s company.
