To an outside observer, it might look like we’re just playing games, building with blocks, or pretending with toy food. But every activity in speech therapy is intentional, strategic, and backed by clinical expertise.

Play is the tool , communication is the goal. ✨

Research shows children learn best when they’re engaged and motivated. By embedding targets into play-based activities, we create meaningful opportunities for practice that feel natural, not forced.

So yes, it looks like fun! But behind every game is assessment, planning, data collection, and clinical decision-making.

Speech therapy isn’t “just play.” It’s purposeful. It’s evidence-based. And it’s powerful. 💛
