Big news! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Keaton’s House – Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice has officially received Site Plan Approval — an important step toward building the first children’s hospice serving families across our region.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support and expertise of our partners Landwise and McCallum Sather . Thank you for helping move this vision forward.

Every step brings us closer to creating a place where children with life-limiting illnesses — and the families who love them — will receive compassionate care, comfort, and support.

A big thank you to the Parent Council, staff and students at Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary who presented us with $1,200 for Keaton’s House – Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice on their last day of school. These funds get us one step closer in ensuring that seriously ill children and their families have support when they need it most.

We’re wishing everyone at Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary a safe and happy summer!

Our CEO, Danielle Zucchet, had the pleasure of attending the RE/MAX Escarpment and Niagara Golf Tournament - and wow, what an amazing event! THANK YOU Conrad Zurini and the entire RE/MAX EN Team for supporting and raising $20,000 for Keaton’s House - Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice ! This generous gift brings us that much closer to providing compassionate care, comfort, and memories to children with life-limiting illnesses and to the families who love them. We are incredibly grateful for the way our community shows up for us.

Rosanne Leddy, one of our dedicated volunteers at Dr. Kemp’s House, has been working tirelessly with a committee of friends for years hosting wonderful evening known as “Making a Difference”

So much more than an event—it’s a labor of love that brings our community together in support of incredible services that are chronically underfunded.
This year, all funds raised will go to Keaton’s House - Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice, helping provide compassionate care to children and families.

It was a night filled with fun, laughter, and an incredible spirit of generosity. Thank you to everyone who came out and contributed to this meaningful night! 💛

✨ An Evening of Inspiration, Generosity & Love ✨

Jonny’s Gold Ribbon Gala brought together family, friends, and our incredible community for a truly unforgettable evening. This event was the result of months of hard work by the , driven by a passion for supporting local families and bridging the gap in pediatric palliative care. Dr. Dave Lysecki, Medical Director of Keaton’s House , shared inspiring words on how far we’ve come in providing palliative care services—and the vital work that still lies ahead.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, funds from this event will support the creation of a teen room, honoring Jonny. This space will be a relaxing, comforting haven where teens living with a serious life-limiting illness can still be teens.💛We are set to break ground early spring 2025 and have the doors open to Keaton’s House - Paul Paletta Children’s hospice

Every child deserves a full, happy life filled with love. How can we make sure that happens for children with a serious illness? That’s where children’s hospice palliative care teams come in.

Pediatric palliative care teams are there to lighten the load, to walk alongside families on this journey, and to give them the support and resources they need so they can focus on the little joys and precious moments together.
