Can you pass the Old Man Test? 👟

It’s simple… but not easy.
Put your shoes on and lace them without touching the floor with your leg the whole time.

Sounds easy? This little “game” actually tests:
✔️ Balance
✔️ Hip mobility
✔️ Core control
✔️ Single-leg stability

If this feels tricky, it might be a sign your balance or mobility needs some love.

Try it and tell us: pass or fail?
Tag someone who needs to attempt the Old Man Test. 💪

This is how we safely challenge balance for Parkinson’s. 💙

Every exercise here has a purpose. We use controlled challenges like gentle perturbations, stepping over foam, and reaching tasks to train balance in a meaningful way.

All movements are always supported and fully supervised because safety and ability come first.

Practicing how to lose and regain balance in a controlled environment helps reduce the risk of falls in real life and builds confidence where it matters most.

Progress like this takes trust, consistency, and effort and showing up makes all the difference.

🧠 Ever wondered what actually happens in the brain when someone with Parkinson’s exercises?

When Parkinson’s occurs, the brain doesn’t make enough dopamine. This can cause stiffness, slow movement, and balance issues.

💪 But here’s the amazing part: exercise wakes up the brain!

Every step, every rep, every movement counts. Walking, boxing, dancing, or training with a physio is not just about moving the body; it’s about keeping the brain stronger, healthier, and more connected.

Movement is medicine for the Parkinson’s brain.
