First I would like to acknowledge that Nicole Jenkins Massage & Rehabilitation is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Today, the City of Hamilton is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island (North America) and we recognize that we must do more to learn about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our roles as residents, neighbours, partners and caretakers. I offer a safe space, my undivided attention, and compassion to all of my clients. I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I will be offering a range of different sessions to suit your needs. I have many years of experience in the healthcare field-- I have worked in hospital settings, retirement residences, and as a First aid and CPR instructor-- but I was always drawn to rehabilitation and wanted to pursue a career path where I could help people with their healing journey. By 2019, I realized that massage therapy was my calling and I enrolled in the Advanced Massage Therapy program at Mohawk College, of which, I am now an alumnus.
As the owner of Nicole Jenkins Massage, I strive/will strive to continually learn, to always incorporate holistic values into my practice, and to use evidence-based research to help my clients heal. I want you to feel your very best! I have a history of chronic pain and a passion for women’s health & health equality; I am eager to help change the lives of others who suffered as I did before discovering massage therapy. I believe that massage therapy is beneficial for all, whether it’s sought to relieve tension, relax, or address a deeply-rooted history of pain caused by illness, injury, or idiopathic conditions. I want to help alleviate your discomfort and make a difference in your life. When I’m not working, you can find me painting, learning a new language, playing the piano or saxophone, or tending to my succulents! I enjoy traveling and love to learn about history and culture; I feel every bit of knowledge I acquire can be incorporated into my professional practice. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping you feel your very best. If you have any questions or would like to get in touch, you can reach me through our contact us section. Mission Statement:
