This time of the year the mind can be particularly active. Moments of joy for many are accompanied by moments of loneliness or sadness for others. The collective is caught up with gift purchases, running around trying to meet deadlines, and perhaps stressing about family or work issues....
This time of year can also pull mental triggers of "Pain Bodies" which are cumulative mental suffering of memories of the past...perhaps a loved one who passed away, or the
sadness of times passed which are no longer...it's easy to get caught up in the flurry of these thought triggers and fall into stress or sadness unless you step back and become aware of these things...
Take a moment of gratitude and tally the small joys in your mind's inventory..

In terms of the self...there are 3 parts which are priceless... whether in the form (health and time)or formless (thought)dimension..
Health, Time and Thoughts... Paying attention to these three things can be a very empowering concept... Through meditation you can empower these areas of your life significantly...
We can make more time for things that matter but we can't actually make more time in terms of adding hours to the day...
Thoughts are intangible, formless yet the most powerful energy forms...they can destroy, create and heal... being in awareness will allow you to shape and navigate the unconditioned mind..and improve all aspects of your life❤️

Just as there is physical passive and active care the same applies to the mind.
As an example.. going to the gym playing sport or doing yoga would be aligned with taking care of our body in an active way..
Getting a massage, physiotherapy, or anything for that matter that is done to you to improve your well-being is passive care.. passive care is the process of letting go and having someone else help..

The same can be applied to the mind..
Active mind care can be aligned with doing something which is mentally challenging whether it be work, anything involving concentration and focus, solvingly challenges etc

Passive mind care is the unraveling...or letting go..
This can be aligned with getting help from a psychologist, counselor, therapist and of course meditation.

There is a hybrid for active and passive such as a guided meditation or guided yoga.. where assistance is provided to get you where you need to be..

Maintaining the balance is the key..
