Just as there is physical passive and active care the same applies to the mind.
As an example.. going to the gym playing sport or doing yoga would be aligned with taking care of our body in an active way..
Getting a massage, physiotherapy, or anything for that matter that is done to you to improve your well-being is passive care.. passive care is the process of letting go and having someone else help..
The same can be applied to the mind..
Active mind care can be aligned with doing something which is mentally challenging whether it be work, anything involving concentration and focus, solvingly challenges etc
Passive mind care is the unraveling...or letting go..
This can be aligned with getting help from a psychologist, counselor, therapist and of course meditation.
There is a hybrid for active and passive such as a guided meditation or guided yoga.. where assistance is provided to get you where you need to be..
Maintaining the balance is the key..
