Student Accessibility Services (SAS) McMaster SAS provides academic accommodation and related assistance to students with disabilities at McMaster.

This is the page for McMaster University's Student Accessibility Services. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is committed to the continual improvement of accessibility for students with disabilities. These disabilities may include an acquired brain injury, low-vision or blindness, chronic illness, learning disability, mobility, mental health, ADHD, and others. *4:30 – 8:00pm are by appointment only, please use SWC reception for check-in and seating. Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm

A 30-minute interactive workshop on setting clear, achievable, academic goals. Angela, SAS assistive technologist consultant, will be joining us to talk about resources and learning strategies you can use. Then, stay for our Momentum Study Session — a calm, supportive space to help you get things done.

One of the spots featured in this study crawl is CATS the Campus Accessible Tech Space located on the second floor of Mills Library. It’s a quiet, scent-free, food-free study environment designed for students who need a controlled space to work.

The faculty of Engineering is seeking a student volunteer who identifies as having or living with a disability to participate in the ENG first year project!

As the final project of the ENG 1P13 course, more than 1000 students work in teams to design a system or device to support a client with their daily challenges. This project is part of a larger initiative called IMPACT. To learn more, please visit www.impactinitiatives.ca

We are looking for a member of our community with accessibility challenges to serve as client on our project from February 6th to April 12th, 2023. The commitments are: attending 2 lectures in February, being available to answer questions from the instructional team via phone and/or email, and attending the final showcase of the project on April 12th, 2023.
