Service dogs are an important part of our community. They are trained working animals who support people with disabilities in their daily lives.
When a service dog is wearing a vest, it is on duty and needs to stay focused. The best way to support them is to give them space, avoid petting, calling their name, or distracting them.
Respecting service dog etiquette helps create a more accessible and inclusive campus for everyone. Video Description: Layla (SAS Student Ambassador) discusses her experience meeting Yolanda, a service dog in training.
