Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to help assist with symptoms of physical and emotional ailments either through topical application or inhalation. Aromatherapy is not just about scent but also about therapeutic properties found in nature. What are essential oils? Essential oils are plant derived oils extracted from different plant parts depending on the oil! Oils are extracted often through distillation, cold pressing or solvent extraction methods. Essential oils rely on their chemical make up to give them their unique scents and therapeutic uses.
