🌟 Introducing the PACE Community Council! 🌟
We are excited to launch the PACE Community Council, a new initiative designed to strengthen communication, collaboration, and community within our department.
The Council will bring together participant representatives from each PACE community program (MacSeniors, MacCardiac Rehab, MacWheelers, MacMS-FITT, and MacWarriors) to meet with members of the management team once per term and be a point of contact for questions and concerns from their peers.
Please note: This is a volunteer role.
We hope these meetings will help to:
⭐️ Build a clearer understanding of PACE’s roles and responsibilities within the McMaster University structure
⭐️Share department wins, challenges, and perspectives
⭐️Work together to find solutions to community concerns
⭐️Explore fundraising ideas and opportunities
⭐️Foster unity and connection across all PACE programs
🗳️ Nominate Yourself or a Fellow Participant
Participants are invited to nominate themselves or another member of their program to serve as a representative. One or two individuals from each program will be selected for the Council.
To express your interest or to nominate someone else, please complete this form (https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/q9YpCHD0c3) by Sunday, April 26th.
A list of nominees will be available in the May e-newsletter. The PACE community will have a chance to vote for their preferred program representative.
The first PACE Community Council meeting will take place in the Spring-Summer term.
We’re excited to work together, elevate participant voices, and continue building a supportive, connected PACE community.
Thank you for helping shape what comes next!
