If your first steps in the morning feel like walking on nails—or your heels ache after standing or walking—your plantar fascia might be inflamed.

👣 What is it?
Plantar fasciitis is irritation of the thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of your foot. It helps support your arch, but when overstressed, it can cause sharp heel pain—especially with your first steps after rest.

💥 Common triggers:
- Long hours on your feet

- Tight calf muscles or high arches
