About our FLOAT PSW Role:
Our FLOAT PSWs work in the Greater Hamilton/Burlington Area, earning guaranteed weekly or bi-weekly income. FLOAT PSWs commit to being available every weekend or every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, for ON-CALL FLOAT SHIFTS - 8a-1p, and STAT holidays. We also seek some evenings from 5p-10p. Workday assignments are communicated at the beginning of the day or the day prior to the on call float shift. Additional hours are assigned on a casual basis, as per business needs.
In return for being available for on call float shifts, Bayshore provides GUARANTEED PAY: five hours per on-call float shift, regardless if scheduled for work, or not.

Qualifications - External
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle along with PSW diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to see home care clients across all of the Greater Hamilton/Burlington Area.
Must be ready and able to work same day work assignments that are communicated at the beginning of the work day or the day prior to the float shift.
Must be available every other weekend OR every weekend – Saturday and Sunday – from 8a-1p.
Evening availability is a plus, from 5p-10p.
