It is common for Doctors to recommend different types of therapy post operation but it is actually EQUALLY as important (if not more important) to have treatment
pre-op‼️

🦵💪 In my 12+ years of treating, every patient I have worked on pre-op has been their surgeons “star patient” 🌟 during recovery because their muscles and tissue were in the best shape possible going in to surgery! 👌🏻

Pre-op preparatory treatment should be considered as vital a part to surgery as post-op treatment is. ❤️‍🩹

So if you or a loved one is going to have hip, knee, shoulder or any other type of surgery let’s chat and see when is the best time to start treatment. ☺️

Water is the basis of blood 🩸 digestive juices 🧃 urine 💛 perspiration 😅 and is contained in lean muscle 💪🏻 fat and bones 🩻

Our bodies can’t store water so we need fresh supplies every day to make up for losses from the lungs, skin, urine and faeces.

So drink up! 💦

Motivational Monday ✨💓

It’s in the daily routines, the habit stacking, the little do’s that we do consistently that we see the biggest impact on our lives long term. 💧🥗😴📖✍️🧘🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️

Why? Because anyone can make a big move once. Anyone can muster the determination momentarily.

It takes dedication 💪🏻 belief ✨ and practice 💞 to do the do EVERY SINGLE DAY not matter WHAT the day looks like!

YOU decided these were important things to add and change about your life and routines. If they are important, they are important ALL THE TIME, not just when it is convenient and fits nicely in to your day. 🫂💞

Show up for yourself 💖 ESPECIALLY when it’s challenging and you don’t exactly want to because those are the days you need it most!

It takes 27 days to for a habit 📆 So be kind to yourself, keep going! Only you will know if you succeed, but you are the ONLY person that matters 😘🥰💖

Massaging our pets can help;
❤️ alleviate pain
❤️ reduce stress
❤️ encourage an all over sense of well-being
for animals just as it does us!

Your brain is strongly influenced by your hydration status.

🤓 Studies show that even mild dehydration, such as the loss of 1-3%, can impair many aspects of brain function.

🚺 In a study of young women, researchers found that
fluid loss of 1.4% after exercise impaired both mood and concentration. 👀 It also increased the frequency of
headaches. 😣

🚹 In a a similar study in young men, they found that fluid loss of 1.6% was detrimental to working memory and
increased feelings of anxiety 😥 and fatigue. 😮‍💨

So drink up friends!! Your body will thank you

You can be grateful for what you have and excited to get what you want at the same time. These SHOULD NOT be mutually exclusive ideas!

Food for thought…

Excessive sugar intake increases risk of diabetes, liver and kidney damage, heart disease, cancers and death.

Also, ni****ne can be more easily and completely avoided. Refined sugar…. is in nearly everything you eat that isn’t a whole food.

If your next question was, what’s considered excessive?
Men should consume no more than 9 teaspoons a day and
Women no more than 6 teaspoons a day…
