A little waiting room update ✨

We’ve been slowly refreshing our shelves at HIH to highlight some of our team’s favourite wellness products, tools, and everyday items — things we either personally use ourselves or frequently recommend to patients in practice.

This week we’re featuring these beautiful handmade pottery pill dishes made by our Client Care Coordinator, Milena.

They’re perfect for organizing daily supplements, bedside essentials, jewelry, or creating a small moment of intention in your daily routine.

Patients are welcome to browse and shop our team’s favourites while waiting for their appointments to begin, and we’re excited to continue adding new finds and wellness staples to the shelves over time ✨

Spring allergy season is in full swing 🌸🤧

If you’ve been dealing with chronic congestion, itchy eyes, sinus pressure, sneezing, post-nasal drip, or feeling constantly “reactive” this time of year, you’re definitely not alone. So many people are struggling with seasonal allergy symptoms right now across Southern Ontario.

Our BIE Practitioner, Brittney DeSantis, has been doing incredible work helping patients reduce how intensely their bodies respond to seasonal allergens and environmental triggers. Today, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, mothers-to-be, foster mothers, chosen mothers, and mother figures who nurture and support those around them every day.

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can bring many emotions. For some, today is joyful and celebratory. For others, it may hold grief, longing, loss, fertility struggles, complicated relationships, caregiving responsibilities, or memories of mothers deeply missed.
