Keloid scars can appear after an injury, surgery, or acne. They tend to grow beyond the wound area and can be more noticeable due to their texture and colour.

After undergoing keloid scar removal treatment using & intralesional steroid injection thereā€™s a noticeable improvement in the size, texture, and colour of the scar. Itā€™s important to be patient, as results can continue to improve over time.

* Sunscreen: Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Reapply every two hours, and more often if youā€™re swimming or sweating.
2. Regular Skin Checks:
* Self-Exams: Regularly check your skin for any new or changing moles, spots, or growths. One easy way to remember common characteristics of melanoma is to think alphabetically - the ABCDEā€™S: Look for asymmetry, irregular borders, different colours, large diameter, or any changes in size or shape.

In our patient above after her first treatment out of a package of four, significant improved was noted in deep wrinkles, fine lines, solar elastosis and textural change šŸ¤©

Over time and with additional treatment, additional improvement is expected.

To further enhance results biostimulatory molecules such as hyperdilute radiesse can be added!
