Happy Nurses Week! 💙

Nurses truly are the heart of healthcare, thank you for all you do!

To celebrate, SHINE Wellness and Volunteer Resources welcomed our pet therapy volunteers dressed in adorable nurse outfits, inspired by Florence Nightingale herself. They were a big hit with staff and brought plenty of smiles and tail wags!

Because sometimes the best medicine… is a wagging tail and a stethoscope.

Volunteer Resources had the privilege of connecting with students and community members at the Ohahodoni Health Symposium last week, held at the Six Nations Community Hall.

Hamilton Health Sciences was proudly represented with four display tables, showcasing a range of programs and services. Our Volunteer Resources team featured an interactive spinning wheel, giving attendees a fun and engaging way to learn about the many volunteer roles available within a hospital setting.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by — it was a fantastic day of learning, sharing, and building community connections!
