What began as a simple idea from residents Linda and Art Comely has grown into something remarkable at The Village of Wentworth Heights.
This year, the community garden blossomed into a space of purpose, connection, and leadership — a place where residents, families, and team members came together to nurture something bigger than the raised beds themselves.
With guidance from Horticultural Therapist Janine Robertson and the steady commitment of the garden club, the space became a sanctuary. Conversations flowed, stress eased, and pride flourished with every bloom and harvest.
As Schlegel Villages director of landscaping Adriaan Sizoo shared, the garden reflects the spirit of the Three Sisters: supporting, inspiring, and uplifting one another — growing better together.
